$100M+ in scholarships goes unclaimed every year in the US. Not because students don't need it. Because they can't find it. So we built Astrai. Type in your high school and our AI agents find scholarships you actually qualify for, including local ones no other platform touches. Watch (sound on) how it works:

@JainamBlueprint I don't see a path forward in college. But I do see it outside of college. So naturally leaving it behind was a no brainer.

If you create content explaining solutions without stating the problem It's like filming a movie with a hero that lacks a villain to fight. No narrative = boring.

opportunity to get into a top college. I was similar in your thought process of not needing school or college. I couldn’t have been more wrong. Unless you have something where you can’t balance school with, getting access to incredibly intelligent people + name brand associated with your college is incredibly valuable. The brand name of your college can get you so far. Alums, organizations on campus, etc. What was the reasoning behind your decision? Just curious nothing else

we got into @ycombinator P26 as some of the youngest Indians ever to get in. in the last month, we decided to build the future of work. the major contributors of the post-work economy will be 1 to 3-person teams and Result will be the platform for them. ok time to lock in

@avipat_ @Preston_Mecky @useKled Any idea what they "saw" that made them decide to jump ship to these guys? Or is it they're really fucking good at talking/selling.

General Catalyst just co-led a $31.5 million seed round into a blatant rip-off of my company, Kled. (skip to 40 seconds if you want to skip context) I would typically not speak on things like this, but this level of blatant copycatting is egregious and completely unacceptable, and needs to be made an example of. This is one of hundreds of YC startups who have conducted this disgusting behavior. Unimaginative slop that continues to get rewarded due to nepotism.
Yuri Sagalov@yuris

Super excited to colead @LuelCompanyAI’s $31.2M seed round. There are certain teams you meet where you know within 5 minutes that you want to partner with them Luel is one of those team. William and Inigo are incredibly ambitious founders who understand the human data bottleneck from the inside out. They've built Luel to create a scalable, reliable supply of that data — something that will be foundational to the next generation of AI.

i joined @V1Michigan ~10 months ago now and have led it for less than a third of that time. it's been a pretty insane, and not to mention a very fun, adventure so far. this semester, we ended up pulling off the most successful Demo Day we've ever had. so i just want to take a moment to thank my team for making it possible, my co-exec @ArhanKaul for putting up with me, and our w26 cohort for all their hard work. and a huge thank you to our judges @verorellana02, @MikeVichich, and @crtinch for all their support!

Health is easy to take for granted until it’s gone. I came into summer with momentum. - 19 days of hitting my macros. - Ready to get back in the gym. - Ready to build the projects I had been putting off during finals. Then I got sick right after moving home. For almost a week, I was basically bedridden. Couldn’t train. Couldn’t eat well. Couldn’t think deeply without my head hurting. All I could really do was sleep, scroll, and watch videos. Felt like a reverse dopamine detox. And honestly, it felt terrible. It felt terrible because I genuinely want every day to move me forward, and for the first time in a while, I physically couldn’t make that happen. The gym, deep work, building, studying, creating... ALL of it depends on your health first. So yeah, I’m very grateful that I'm feeling better now. Don’t wait until you’re sick to appreciate being healthy.

Meet @dylanli09, a CS student applying to hundreds of internships. Keeping track of every status update was a hassle. So he built ApplyMail on AgentMail. Every company email gets parsed and piped into a dashboard. No more inbox archaeology. Just ship.

@anna_kislenkova Yeah exactly It’s weird how hard it is to break away from something that’s so normalized Appreciate your input :D

@JainamBlueprint Well said Jainam, it hits hard because spending all of our mental bandwidth on a singular number is so normalized and expected in society, but breaking the standard is counterintuitively the only way to get to the life that you’ve been dreaming of :)

I might have traded my GPA for startups this semester... Now I am cramming for finals. What I learned: - Discrete math is not something you learn in 2 days - Being this underprepared for exams sucks At the same time, there were real tradeoffs: - Secured a SWE internship at a VC - Built and shipped projects + demoed one in front of 100+ people - Got more exposure to VC and startup environments - Met interesting people and opened some doors - Became more consistent with gym, sleep, and eating So the real question is whether that trade was worth it. I do not know yet. But trading all of that for an A instead of a B+ is hard to justify. Getting a B in EECS 280 or discrete math is probably not a big deal. It just feels worse because I am not used to it. Breaking that standard hits harder than it should. (Sorry mom)

I appreciate this, and I agree on the diminishing returns. It also kind of goes against the idea that the “A student” is the one who’s winning. In CS especially, that just doesn’t seem true. If you are only chasing a higher % and not building or staying current, it doesn’t translate to much. Especially since the CS curriculum is outdated. Ideally you do both. But if I had to choose, I would rather optimize for becoming actually useful than squeezing out a few extra percentage points. This was the first time my own definition of progress really clashed with the “normal” one. I feel like in a year it won’t matter what letter grade I got, more whether I am actually capable of doing valuable work.

@JainamBlueprint As someone who has consistently been making this trade-off, I don't regret it. Whatever gap there is between you and the A student is so small/nonexistent that there are diminishing returns as you continue to chase a higher percentage.

About 1.5 months ago, I made a video on the dilemma I was having. Overall, I'm pretty happy with the way things turned out. I just hope I don't shit the bag too badly on these exams and then it's onto the next big thing :D youtube.com/watch?v=JON7T0…
