Why is a ton of the Path of Exile 2 discourse I am reading: "Nothing will change, everything is the same" as if there aren't a bunch of balance changes, a ton of unknowns (new items, ascendancy buffs, new challenges to encounter, new item affixes), and more? If the game's too boring, swap it up - don't follow a build guide, don't play the MOST META OP BROKEN stuff out there, you might enjoy it. I tried this with speedrunning and have had a blast. Maybe you'll have more fun if you're not copying your favorite creator's build and thoughts 1-1 ;) Am I INSANE??

@OBriengunsmith @Timcast It is well documented that it did, specifically for people with certain medical conditions, elderly, and compromised immune systems. Still doesn't change the fact that a discussion should have been had about the side effects, and why healthy people shouldn't have gotten it.

The way to save Ethereum: The community needs to create an organization that's economically aligned with Ethereum and accountable to it. The EF now holds less than 0.1% of all ETH. There is no flow of Ethereum staking or fee revenues to it. If we want to get Ethereum back to winning: - create an organisation with credible funding, minimum $1b as a start. That's very reasonable for an ecosystem with $250b market cap - find a leader who is competent and wants to fight - make it accountable: a board of people who want ETH to go up, and a charter that holds the org accountable to it - fund it permanently: A significant amount of staking revenue needs to go to it. A governance mechanism that can adjust it (also part of accountability). Very hard to imagine now, but I think this is the only way (and it will probably happen, but it might take a long time before it is consensus).

In a few months, Knots users will be stroking their bald chins thinking about this. Ordinals will reign supreme.

In the late 80s and early 90s, MUDs (Multi-User Dimensions) were all the rage for budding computer nerds. These were the first MMORPGs played over a dial-up modem on Telnet in an entirely text-based format similar to a multiplayer-choose your own adventure book. Growth was slow, deep, and tedious with idle-play or botting and multi-accounting actually being encouraged in many games (and there were thousands of them) which was referred to as scripting at the time. So, my love for these idle/auto games didn't just pop up overnight with the invention of the blockchain. A graphical optimized MUD with persistent, real-world value progression is right up my alley and probably why I also must use dark mode.
