I’m not sure I ever watched West Wing. Do I have to go back and do it now?

All my potatoes have blight. It’s taken my outside tomatoes too. My courgettes haven’t fruited. My French beans failed. My runner beans will be just one picking? The cabbage have failed. The broccoli have failed. As did the radish. Even the cosmos hasn’t flowered. 🤷🏻‍♀️

What are some guaranteed ways to insult a British person? I’ve got: 1. Accept a cup of tea, take one sip and then leave the rest 2. Don’t put the next customer divider down in the supermarket 3. Criticise their home town when you’re not from their home town (even though they themselves think their home town is rubbish)

This is X’s official policy. Does it strike you that anyone in the company - starting with @elonmusk - has actually read it ?

Nigel farage wants you to think that Britain has an immigration problem. It doesn't. Britain had a problem with millionaires hoarding wealth, egged on by politicians and the press. Britain has a problem with racism. Britain has a @Nigel_Farage problem. RT if you agree.

Funny how Suella Braverman called the almost 100% peaceful protest events for the people of #Gaza ‘hate marches’ but she seems to have absolutely nothing to say about violent English Nazi terrorism, some of which she legitimised. A complete disgrace to politics and her country.

Anybody who doesn't know the dynamics, history and supposed pretexts of murderous pogroms, in the UK and elsewhere, should be informing themselves, sharpish. Call this what it is.

Kenyan runner Abel Mutai was just a few feet from the finish line, but became confused with the signage and stopped, thinking he had completed the race. A Spanish runner, Ivan Fernandez, was right behind him and, realizing what was happening, started shouting at the Kenyan to continue running. Mutai didn't know Spanish and didn't understand. Realizing what was taking place, Fernandez pushed Mutai to victory. A journalist asked Ivan, "Why did you do that?" Ivan replied, "My dream is that someday we can have a kind of community life where we push and help each other to win." The journalist insisted, "But why did you let the Kenyan win?" Ivan replied, "I didn't let him win, he was going to win. The race was his." The journalist insisted again, "But you could have won!" Ivan looked at him and replied, "But what would be the merit of my victory? What would be the honor in that medal? What would my mother think of that?" Your comments on this

I just realized that I was so busy on Monday that I forgot to make a donation to @KamalaHarris during the call, so... I'll join in on the trend: I will donate $.10 for every like on this tweet, $0.50 for every retweet, and $1 for every follow. (30,757 followers at the start) #whitedudesforharris h/t @NateHoward2003
