@TimWilsonMP @RBAInfo @JEChalmers It's amazing Tim that you posted the RBA statement, but didn't consider the gravity of the most material part. I've highlighted it in yellow to make it easy for you.

Every week at least one Australian newborn survives their abortion and is left to die in Australia. Why has @AlboMP failed to address their plight?

This (now deleted) post was inappropriate but those claiming it was a violence threat/incitement are showing their ignorance. "baseball bats" is a well established metaphor for a big angry anti-government swing going back at least to a Wayne Goss quote re 1996 Qld federal.

The Victorian opposition includes James Newbury, Shadow Minister for Equality, who advocates baseball bats against the Premier, and David Southwick, who was Shadow Minister for Cost of Living when he owned 17 investment properties. Even #NewsCorpse can't make them look normal.

James Newbury is proof we have issues in Vic. He is a politician. talking like this. Who needs the baseball bat really now in Victoria ay ?? It would be really shit for him to find out he's paying for bots to spew anti-Africa hate and the machete rants we're seeing all day long. Tick tock, James .. tick tock #clapback
Wazza from Melbourne@Melbourne_says

James Newbury, a Victorian Liberal, inciting violence the day after the VIC Libs had a drop in their primary vote and kept (not won) the seat of Nepean. ASIO has recently warned us that political violence is on the rise. This bloke is reckless.👇🏼

Today, Australia began its Royal Commission inquiry into antisemitism, following the December 2025 terrorist attack on Bondi Beach, in which two men, a father and son, killed 15 Jewish people at a Hanukkah event. Starting today, members of Sydney’s Jewish are giving testimony about their experiences of antisemitism in Australia. @ECAJewry has worked to ensure that the full force of the community’s views and experiences of antisemitism in various sectors of society are brought to the forefront of the Inquiry.

This POS from Filthville, crawls in the gutter with the worst of MSM where the rats of political point scoring haven't been right yet. They were wrong about Bondi, says the Royal Commisioner, and they're wrong about this..

Victorian Liberal MP James Newbury is under fire for posting then deleting a tweet claiming Victorians are coming for Jacinta Allan's Labor with baseball bats. This not the first time we've seen this kind of violent rhetoric. #auspol #springst #LNP #HateSpeech

@rachelbaxendale @AdamBandt @SamanthaRatnam @GabrielledeVie Always enjoy your partisan take Rachel. Perhaps you should report on what appears to be Brighton Liberal MP James Newbury turning up to Remembrance Day in his blue Liberal Party jacket? I'm surprised he didn't position an A Frame sign with his face on it next to the wreath.

An aside, under the Howard public infrastructure spending fell to a record low (crippling productivity), debt was reduced via privatisation (a simple transaction shuffling public ownership & debt to the private sector); & it was showered with festoons of dividends from the RBA
Stephen Koukoulas@TheKouk

It's a simple fact that the Howard government was the highest taxing government in Australia's history. If the budget next week raises taxes to that Howard peak, it would mean $18 billion of extra taxes per annum. Tim Wilson's numbers on tax have more holes than a packet of rigatoni
