Cutting Tamil women's breasts for fun, r*ping their dead bodies and filming and laughing about it is Sinhalese 🇱🇰 culture. LTTE is based for killing these monsters.

Really in awe by the all hard work done by the Eelam Tamil diaspora. Grassroot work is grinding and it takes time to bear any fruits. Regardless of this factor your work is immeasurable. We will achieve our goals.

The Sinhalese committed Tamil genocide because they believe the whole island was promised to their ancestors over 2000 years ago to protect Buddhism. They believe every patch of land is sacred to them and Tamil Hindu settlements are illegal encroachments on ancient Buddhist sites. Their Sangha with the support of the military and archeology department lay claim on every patch of land with a bodhi tree even if privately owned by Tamils. This is the reason why every political solution intended to provide regional autonomy to Tamils has failed. The Sangha have the final veto as they are the kingmakers of Sri Lankan politics. It’s practically a Buddhist theocracy where the primacy of Buddhism is enshrined in the constitution. Although popularly depicted as an ethnic conflict as opposed to religious, it’s a false binary that doesn’t apply to Sri Lanka, specially to the Sinhalese Buddhists. Buddhism has also been popularly associated with peace but in Sri Lanka, its oldest refuge, it’s associated with pedophilia, necrophilia, mass rapes and genocide. It might be a difficult truth to stomach for Ambedkarites but it was in Buddhist Sri Lanka the largest number of Dalits were massacred in the entire history of the Indian subcontinent, as the LTTE had a strong base among the subaltern classes of Eelam. Once again, Sri Lanka defies all simplistic binaries which is why it should be judged on its own merits.

Imagine using fake footage from a propaganda movie and putting two people together who have no correlation whatsoever as your argument. Your people killed 169,000 in the span of a few months, which was a single massacre out of the hundreds of massacres against Tamils. Also, it’s really weird why you Sinhalese people have to engage in zoophilia of Prabhakaran’s dead body, as seen in your feed, but it perfectly represents the values of your people.

We stand with the Tamil community in remembering the victims of the Tamil genocide and defending the truth against those who try to erase history. Brampton is proud to be home to the Tamil Genocide Memorial at Chinguacousy Park, a symbol of remembrance, the need for justice, and the ongoing push for accountability. We will always stand with our Tamil brothers and sisters in the fight for human rights and against genocide denial.

He could have reached out and touched the gun that killed him. Balachandran was 12 years old. The Sri Lankan soldiers who put those bullets in him are child killers and war criminals. And they are cowards. They have never faced justice. We must not stop until they do.

🎙️ ‘Resolutions are not enough’ - Human Rights Watch Asia director calls for justice at Mullivaikkal Human Rights Watch’s Asia Director Elaine Pearson (@PearsonElaine) called for renewed international efforts towards accountability and justice, whilst attending Mullivaikkal remembrance events in the Tamil homeland on Sunday. Speaking to the Tamil Guardian from Mullivaikkal during the 17th anniversary commemorations of the genocide, Pearson said it was important for international human rights organisations to stand alongside Tamil victims and survivors. “It's really important for @hrw to be here on this day to stand with the Tamil victims of these abuses to commemorate this moment,” she said. “Obviously this is a very important place where many thousands of people were killed in the final stages of the war and there hasn't been any accountability 17 years later.” tamilguardian.com/content/resolu…

@JanothR The Tamil genocide is on par with the Rohingya genocide and actually even less than it diplomatically in the 'international community' just to give perspective. Think about how much you think about the Rohingya genocide at all in your day to day life or know about the Rohingya

The Eelam Tamil diaspora shouldn’t get too distracted or discouraged from the main goal. It’s okay to voice for other oppressed people and movement. Just remember that our struggle and genocide is the least known amongst the well known ones. That doesn’t mean ours is any less irrelevant. We lack a cogent movement and funding. Our movement has always been us and we can achieve a lot more with an independent TamilEelam. 🐅
