Pro tip: since the electric kettle is so efficient I use it to boil water and then pour it into a pot on the stove for pasta.

@kjmac111 I definitely heard the opposite when I bumped into an assistant coach after the second scrimmage last season. (“Really bad” what’s the quote, IIRC ). But maybe we have different sources.

As word of Georgetown’s “secret” scrimmage against Maryland travels out, hearing from one college coaching friend that Georgetown “dominated” the Terps. Am told Jayden Epps sat out for precautionary reasons too.

Dikembe Mutombo was an incredible basketball player – one of the best shot blockers and defensive players of all time. But he also inspired a generation of young people across Africa, and his work as the NBA’s first global ambassador changed the way athletes think about their impact off the court. Michelle and I are thinking of Dikembe’s family and everyone who knew and loved him.

NBA Global Ambassador and Naismith Basketball Hall of Famer Dikembe Mutombo passed away today at the age of 58 from brain cancer. He was surrounded by his family. NBA Commissioner Adam Silver issued the following statement.

Split your direct deposit so part of your paycheck automatically goes to a savings account at a DIFFERENT BANK ($40 a month adds up!)
The added step of transferring between banks (+ a 1-3 day wait) makes it less convenient to dip into savings when your checking balance gets low.
