There were only 4 of us, Republicans, that signed the discharge petition to force the vote to release the Epstein files. Thomas Massie, Nancy Mace, Lauren Boebert, and myself. Trump has come after us one by one ever since then. The President told Speaker Johnson not to allow the vote to happen, but we courageously went against the President and refused to budge and overrode the Speaker to force the vote on record. It was only when all Members of Congress had to vote on record did Republicans finally find their intestinal fortitude to do the right thing and vote YES to release the files. Until then, they were absurdly obedient to the President who was doing everything in his reign of terror to hold them back. Even now, all the files are still not released, and the Epstein class remains protected. Wars are being waged, the markets are being manipulated, and the average American is being driven further into ruin while the Epstein class reigns and has yet to face any accountability. I will never regret signing that discharge petition, refusing to back down, and resigning as I want nothing to do with a President and a Party that bows to the Epstein class.

NBC News reported Thursday that attacks by Jewish extremists against Christians, including clergy, nuns, and pilgrims in Jerusalem’s Old City, are sharply escalating. Sister Mary Meline, interviewed by NBC, described the routine humiliation faced by Christian clergy in the city central to their faith: “The spitting on the ground for me it’s every time I go to Jerusalem nearly.” Christian leaders and Israeli activists told NBC the attack is part of a broader pattern of harassment and physical assault targeting clergy and pilgrims — often carried out by ultra-Orthodox Jewish yeshiva students. Jerusalem’s Christian population has collapsed from roughly 25% to less than 2% of the city over the past century.

Massie: I’m walking to an airplane to rejoin the most expensive congressional race in U.S. history. It’s turned into a referendum on whether Israel gets to buy seats in Congress. And what they found out is that my seat is really expensive. By the time this is over, they will probably have spent $20 million and come up short. I’ve never seen Great Britain, Australia, or even Germany play in our elections here in the United States. But Israel gets so much from the United States. It’s a one-sided relationship. They get us to be their proxies in wars they want against their enemies. They get our military assistance. They get our technology. They get our bombs. They get our tax dollars. And I think it’s a very one-sided relationship. At least with NATO, we pretend that they would come to our aid someday if we needed it—and even that’s a ruse.
