@KevinMcCurdy @SportsThor In fairness, the team didn't give JJ much choice. They were 2-9-1 and looked completely broken. The likely would have come out of it with Woodcroft but coaches are always one bad streak away from an axe for better or worse

I do not believe McDavid supported the firing of Woodcroft or the hiring of Knoblauch. The room appeared to me genuinely upset by those moves. They had no choice but to accept it and it appears they did so only as long as Gully was here. They are done doing it.

Knoblauch is here because of McDavid and Jeff Jackson. He’s lost Bowman’s support for sure. McDavid comments suggest he’s had enough too. Will JJ listen to Bowman and McDavid (-and Draisaitl)? If I was an Oiler fan I'd frankly be embarrassed of needed to be carried by the refs every game to get ahead in the standings. I appreciate being a fan of a team that actually has to grind out wins

1. Ingram was really good.
2. Thought Podkolzin was excellent tonight, best forward for sure.
3. Going to need to play much much better in Colorado and Dallas.

@mathewjdp They swung and missed on Mang in the offseason. They got better now and yes a 1st is a lot but with the way the roster is constructed it should never be more than a late 1st anyway. They are a win now team and have to act accordingly
