This Memorial Day, we honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice helped protect the freedoms, communities and land we cherish every day. Their courage will never be forgotten. 🇺🇸

I couldn’t be prouder to have the support and backing of these grassroots organizations and the incredible folks behind them all across the 19th District. This campaign is about the future we want to build together, for the future of West Texas, and for the future we will leave behind to our children and our children’s children. I’ve fought for West Texas my entire career, and I’m eager to take that same West Texas grit and spirit to Congress, where I’ll fight alongside President @realDonaldTrump to defend our conservative values, and to make America truly great once again. Legislators traded suits for boots this week during Legislative Ag Day, where they got a firsthand look at the industries that help keep Texas growing. Hosted by the #TexasAgCouncil, the event highlighted everything from livestock and crops to forestry and conservation.

Texas legislators and legislative staff traded their suits and ties for boots and jeans for a trip to the farm this week. During yesterday’s Legislative Ag Day, they were able to rotate through stations that showcased different aspects of farming and ranching. They learned about beef cattle, cotton, sheep and goats, poultry, watermelon production and some of the issues facing farmers and ranchers. The event was an opportunity to cultivate relationships with legislators and their staff and answer any questions they might have about agriculture.

What does it take to keep East Texas forests healthy for generations? It starts with folks coming together for a day centered on sustainable forest management. We were proud to join, with updates from TFA's Rob Hughes and Kim Wagner, plus a visit from State Rep. Joanne Shofner.

AF&PA supports the passage of @RepPfluger’s FENCES and @RepJohnJoyce's RED Tape Acts that streamline regulations and support American manufacturers and family wage jobs. We applaud @HouseCommerce for getting these bills to the House floor.
