Sen. John Fetterman opens up about being the "only" Democrat in Congress to support Operation Epic Fury: "It's a truth — Iran can't ever have a nuclear bomb. Another truth is they were committed to building one and they were close to actually achieving that goal." | @pdoocy @SundayBriefFNC

@CodyHarrisTX @paramourdonkey @Burrows4TX You purposely support democrats selecting the speaker. The day you start passing laws based on the priorities set at the convention is when I'll start trusting you or Burrows. Democrats are still allowed to chair committees, and property tax relief is always taken away from us.

@Bibleknight04 @Jeffery4Pi @CrunchyBrit13 @AiG Who said that fossils take millions of years to form? True that most fossils occur through rapid sedimentation, but a global flood wouldn't be the only cause of that. And most fossils are of organisms with hard structures, such as ammonites.

@RegTheDude @Bibleknight04 @CrunchyBrit13 @AiG Dolphins and whales easily swim in to deeper waters during the flood. It wasn't until the waters receded that they got trapped in mudflows as the tectonic uplift occurred. The water in the oceans today would be 2 miles deep if the land is smoothed out.

@gijoe6pack @CreationMuseum Whether the light was within the water, or a quasar, or whatever, the spinning planet takes 24 hours for full rotation (whatever word makes you feel smarter). The sun, moon, and stars are ... for signs and seasons, and for days and years...the greater light to rule the day

@Jeffery4Pi @CreationMuseum So, you don’t understand, okay, allow me to school you. The Earth spins (rotates) as it revolves around the Sun. If there were no Sun, what was the Earth revolving around?

Disappointed to see yet another act of normalization of Mormon hate within the Conservative movement. Leaving aside the religious bigotry, the LDS Church is the *MOST* Republican-leaning religious group in America. We should be thanking them, not mocking them.

For only the second time in Texas history, the sitting Speaker of the Texas House will address delegates at our State Convention. Speaker Burrows is also stepping forward as a sponsor of the convention as well. That has never happened before. Before Speaker Burrows held office, he was a delegate and a precinct chair. He’s sat in those same seats, had those same conversations, and understands exactly what it means to show up and help shape the future of Texas. We are grateful for his willingness to not only support this convention, but to be part of it in a way that respects and recognizes the delegates who make this party strong. We look forward to welcoming Speaker Burrows to the 2026 Texas Republican Convention and to a historic moment for our party and our state. @Burrows4TX

@RegTheDude @Bibleknight04 @CrunchyBrit13 @AiG The order in the sedimentary layers is the ecological zone where they lived. It makes perfect sense that marine animals would get buried first, then lowland swamps. A flood would cause massive mudflows, which is exactly what we see. Rock does not bend, mud does.

@RegTheDude @Bibleknight04 @CrunchyBrit13 @AiG All of the fossils had to be buried quickly. The worldwide flood is the best answer for creation of fossils. Many of the layers of sedimentary rock were laid down within days, months of each other. Some were laid as the tectonic plates were lifted up and mud flowed back.

@Bibleknight04 @Jeffery4Pi @CrunchyBrit13 @AiG That's an ignorant comment. The key point is that if you look back into layers that are 600 million years old you will see no vertebrates, no mammals, no reptiles. 100 million later there were vertebrates. 250 million later there were reptiles. There's your evidence.

@CrunchyBrit13 @RegTheDude @AiG @Bibleknight04 There is no direct observation of any star or planet forming. One the planets do not emit light for the telescope to see it. Two, Webb has never seen a new star where there wasnt one in the past. Stars are seen exploding and moving. Star nurseries are a conjecture only.

That is flat-out wrong. There is strong, direct evidence from isotope ratios (deuterium-to-hydrogen, or D/H) and meteorite analysis. Carbonaceous chondrite meteorites (from asteroids) have D/H ratios that closely match Earth’s oceans—far better than comets or other sources. Russell Humphreys (as brilliant he is) is still doing guesswork on Neptune and Uranus doesn’t equal total victory. It’s like guessing how fast a car was going on a race track by saying “100 mph” when it was actually doing 150 mph. As for Jupiter and Saturn, you’re misunderstanding the physics. Gas does expand in a true vacuum, and while space is a near-vacuum it still tries to expand (due to thermal pressure). So why do you not see them expanding or collapsing now? Due to gravity balancing the internal pressure in hydrostatic equilibrium. This hydrostatic equilibrium, creates a perfect stalemate. The gas is constantly "pushing" to expand because it’s hot and under pressure, but the massive gravity of the planet is "pulling" just as hard to keep it in. You are correct that is would not collapse, they would instead dissipate (outward), because the internal pressure won. So were they formed naturally or through design? I would still lean naturally. In the early solar system, bits of rock and ice bumped into each other until they formed a solid core about 10 times the mass of Earth. Once that solid core got big enough, its gravity became strong enough to win the tug-of-war against the gas in the protoplanetary disk. At that point the core started pulling in huge amounts of nearby hydrogen and helium gas. This is called “runaway gas accretion.” It kept growing until it ran out of nearby gas or the Sun’s solar wind blew the rest away, leaving the planet in hydrostatic equilibrium. We have also directly observed planets and solar systems forming with the James Webb Space Telescope, ALMA, and ESO telescopes. eso.org/public/images/… eso.org/public/news/es… nhm.ac.uk/discover/news/…
