@alexbryant32 @jstone9 @unusual_whales They both pay 12% on first $185,000 and then it goes down from there on additional. The first 185k is taxed. Original post is misleading.

Murray: Is it true that people making under $184k pay a 12.4% Social Security tax rate? Dahl: Yes Murray: And the rate for someone making $1 million? Dahl: 2.2% Murray: So, a 12.4% tax for people making less than $184k, but 2.2% for a millionaire or .0002% for billionaires.

@SherryYanJiang @cursor_ai You can, but Claude Code + Max plan + Opus is a budget-friendly way to code—and Opus is one of the best models for coding, if not the absolute best.

All the action tonight is in precious metals. Gold is up 1.35%, silver is up 3%, palladium is up 3.5%, & platinum is up 5%. We’re early in what will likely be the biggest precious metals bull market in history. Yet all attention remains on Bitcoin, despite that mania being over.

there are good programmers i followed before AI was a thing the way they use AI is pretty different than the people who are getting a following now specifically for how they use AI i know everyone is primed to think every tech shift flips the tables but i'm not betting on that

It could. When you think paradigm shifts and if Bitcoin becomes the default wealth layer then companies like $MSTR holding large amounts of $BTC will become defacto banks. I’ve wondered when @saylor is going to generate yield the standard way, by lending out Bitcoin for yield. But he likely sees holding generate bigger returns for now? & a layer 2 on top of Bitcoin makes sense. That’s what the dollar was before Nixon took us off the gold standard. Bitcoin banks will keep bitcoin secure and can issue their own layer 2 solution

@TheFlowHorse @beefee321 Interesting, didn’t realize ashwagandha had that effect, but looked it up & it can. I’ve heard Boron & Tongkat ali can raise t levels. regardless, 1000+ is amazing for 40+ - even with natural supplements

Doctor Twitter, is this normal? Never took any type of supplement in my life besides creatine. Maybe when I am in my 60s I will. Could it be ashwagandha? Just working out? This seems high for a 40 year old.

Calling these wins “coincidence” ignores the pattern of backing legitimate builders: Anthropic: $500M investment → $1.3B realized (160% return), now worth $5B if held Wikipedia The Block: Company now valued at $183B, 4th most valuable private company globally Wikipedia Circle (USDC): Participated in $440M round, largest crypto raise at the time Forkast - still a major stablecoin issuer Yuga Labs (BAYC): $450M round at $4B valuation Forkast with a16z, controls top NFT IP IEX Group: $270M in regulated US stock exchange Nasdaq PR Newswire Near Protocol: $350M round with Tiger Global Forkast Mysten Labs (Sui): $300M round, $2B valuation Forkast Solana: FTX held and liquidated $3.4 billion in Solana, Ethereum, and Bitcoin Decrypt FTX was one of Solana’s earliest major backers and ecosystem builders.

@FreeSBF_dot_org @SBF_FTX I did SBF is just trying to weaponize the fact that every FTX asset / investment has gone up from picobottom Nov 2022 prices when they factually could not pay out users at the time of bankruptcy and instead point the bankruptcy team as the true villain

@eBay @AskeBay Major fraud issue: Scammers sell high-dollar items, then provide tracking for someone else's package in your zip code. (They have access to some database with tracking info) Shows "delivered" but not to you. You lose dispute because tracking shows delivery. eBay's system can't tell it's the wrong address. Until eBay fixes this issue, I wouldn't purchase high dollar items on there. Side note: you can always purchase with a credit-card for extra protection so if you do lose an item like this you can file a dispute with your CC company.
