@ldndoc @keester76 @TheRealRead @Academic_owl But this isn’t relayed on the MDT (I agree, this is an issue) Its also courteous, we wouldn’t say to a primary care clinician, we are referring them to you with no further information/handover and not expect further questions - as this is what classically comes through to us

@keester76 @TheRealRead @Academic_owl It doesn’t have to be a detailed letter with the patients whole medical Hx. Simply a patient referred to x for ? Reason plus their obs. Helps form a picture for crews when the pt hasn’t a clue why they’re going in, we get a “Dr said so” answer when asked.

@TheRealRead @Academic_owl Wait, so you want a primary care clinician to see and assess the patient, then write a referral to secondary care, write a separate note to you, and explain all the details to a call handler too? Surely the problem is info not being relayed by the call handling team?
