They were partipants in a clearly planned and seditious conspiracy against our nation. I consider this the third assassination attempt on his ability to lead, unimpeded, by the opposition party. POTUS has fulfilled his duties in magnificent fashion, even going as far as meeting with Communist leaders from your party, and after physical assasination attempts by members of your base. I think he deserves the respect any combat veteran should.

@amyklobuchar Thanks for the update chicken little. The four years before this current administration took over cost us unknown trillions in current and future generations of freeloaders.

Drivers in Minnesota are paying $4 a gallon today. That's up more than a dollar since the start of the war with Iran. That's costing Minnesotans every mile.

@RepJasonCrow After all these long weeks, it’s the war that drove of us under? It wasn’t the four years of the auto pen in chief. Is that right?

The American people can’t afford groceries, gas, and health care. Trump’s war with Iran is making prices even worse. Congress must end this conflict.

@PeteButtigieg Crêpes, PD, the STILL have unfilled potholes in that mighty metropolis that you ran into the ground in Indiana. In the six growing months that you put into your transportation, job screams go sit down.

We now know the Iran war price tag is more like $50 billion - hundreds of dollars per household - and counting. It's enough to cover all the health insurance premium credits that the Republicans got rid of for this year, and next. It could save rural hospitals, pay teachers, fix roads. Don't let this White House insult your intelligence by blowing your money on war, then saying America can't afford nice things.

We must end Donald Trump’s war of choice with Iran. @RepMoulton and I introduced a War Powers Resolution to force a congressional vote to end this war.

@StellarVoyager1 @BskiMike22802 @BernieSanders You take a hyper-emotional posture of having disproven OP's claims with a tangential and disputable factoid. There is little hard evidence, beyond his own claim, that he was there, and no evidence indicating the nature of the work he did or didn't do. Not very academic.

The Oligarchs want to control it all: our economy, our media, our political system. Today, workers around the world are joining together in solidarity to demand governments that work for ALL, not just the few. I am proud to stand on the side of the working class.

Studies show that Trump's dismantling of USAID may have already caused upwards of 1 million preventable deaths worldwide, and could cause up to 14 million more by 2030. At yesterday's Appropriations Committee markup, I offered an amendment that would direct the government to publish a study on how many deaths the shuttering of USAID has caused and could cause over the next five years if these cuts to lifesaving assistance continue. Unfortunately, Republicans rejected this amendment, proving they would rather stick their heads in the sand than acknowledge this unnecessary and tragic loss of life because of Trump's cruel policies.

Donald Trump is a convicted felon, a twice impeached president, and America’s chief insurrectionist. His name is unfit to honor our nation’s buildings. I am proud to introduce the PROTECT Act to stop Donald Trump from using taxpayer-funded buildings for his personal vanity projects, because New Yorkers deserve public spaces that they can respect, not monuments to tyranny and corruption.

But it was okay to send $350 billion to Ukraine, $42 billion to Iran, $180 billion to illegal aliens, $9 billion to Somali fraudsters, $42 billion from USAID to whichever foreign country needed subversive LGBTQ social engineering and no telling how much money back into the pockets of Dramacrats supporting their causes. Here, Liz Warren get $10.5 million from the healthcare industry! Whst does she say or do to earn that?

Working people are being ground to the bone just to afford to live. And Secretary Bessent’s advice is to dig a little deeper to feel good about paying more? It’s insulting. Americans are not stupid.

Every kid deserves a fair shot, no matter their zip code or how much money their family makes. Trump’s school voucher program puts that at risk by taking money out of public schools and giving to private ones. That’s not right, so I introduced a bill to repeal it.

We have 535 Members of Congress but just one President. That's why we need a bipartisan independent commission under the 25th Amendment to make sure this president—and all future presidents—are fit to discharge the duties of their office. Congress should pass H.R. 8275 to fill this constitutional void.

Congress cannot keep letting Donald Trump spend billions, destabilize the world, and make Americans’ lives even more expensive without oversight. We must defend the Constitution. We will keep forcing this fight on the Senate floor.

@SenMarkey The rich are being taxed already. They pay most of the taxes in this country. When you say let’s tax the rich and make them pay their fair share what share is that? What kind of percentage do you want to bleed?

Today is Tax Day. And Billionaires are getting taxxed LESS on their stock trades than teachers and nurses on their wages. That's why we introduced the Equal Tax Act. Let's tax the rich and use that money to pay for essential programs like health care and education.
