I’m a hard NO on the Senate DHS bill.
Cut in the dead of night, this weak, America-last deal abandons ICE agents, undercuts Border Patrol, ignores the SAVE America Act, and gives traffickers exactly what they want.
No accountability. No enforcement.
It rewards failure, weakens our security, and puts Americans last. I won’t be part of it.

I just sent a letter to Leader Thune with 24 of my Republican colleagues letting him know that until they pass the SAVE America Act, we will be voting NO on any Senate bills that come to the House floor.
Republicans made a promise to the American people to secure our elections.
President Trump is counting on us.

In the 3 p.m. vote series today, there is a vote on S 3971, a Senate bill from Joni Ernst. The Small Business Innovation and Economic Security Act. Remember: Republicans who have been angry about the Senate handling of the SAVE America Act have said they will vote against Senate bills. This bill passed by voice vote in the Senate. Needs 2/3 of the House for passage.
