JUST IN: Judge Zia Faruqui has *apologized* to Cole Allen, the man who is accused of trying to kill President Trump, for how he has been treated in jail. Fox News' Larry Kudlow was heard ripping the judge on Fox. "The judge apologized to this guy? ... [He would've] shot at the President and we're apologizing to this guy?" These judges are absolutely insane and belong in prison.

Today, we are releasing video already provided to U.S. District Court showing Cole Allen shoot a U.S. Secret Service officer during his attempt to assassinate the President at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner. There is no evidence the shooting was the result of friendly fire. The video also shows Allen casing the area in the Hilton Hotel the day before the attack. Our calls were dropping, because there is barely any service in that ballroom. To finish the story, he was telling me to be careful with my own safety because the world is crazy. Which is what my own father and other people have also said to me recently. He was expressing his concern for my safety. I was going to say - before I lost my signal - that it was unfortunate that only a short time later, this all happened. When we heard people shouting “get down”, he jumped into action and made sure myself and others at our table got on the ground. He was heroic in his actions and I will forever be grateful.

I’m so damn proud of our FOX family. I watched our colleagues help each other and our guests get underneath the tables immediately. And then comforted one another while producing, coordinating, and reporting the news in a very confusing and chaotic scene. It was a sad day. But also one that reminded me how amazing humans are.
