Not a single person has given me a rational way to keep trans women out of women's restrooms short of a genital inspection.

@MarcoFoster_ @TomSteyer In any other context, threatening suicide to get your way has always been understood to be manipulative, abusive behavior. For troons this was all just thrown out the windows and shitlibs just say "ok, do whatever you want, no matter who else it hurts"

Tom Steyer: “I’m totally in favor of trans athletes in high school. When you understand the vulnerability, the stress, the danger of being a trans kid and you understand almost half of them try to commit suicide. Then you think we’re gonna punish those kids, we’re gonna cut them off from team sport. It’s like, no we’re not”

If I had to go home to convert my O-1 genius visa into a greencard, it would completely derail my career. Not even worth applying at that point. The process for a greencard is 1 to 2 years. The O-1 lasts 2 to 3 years. Just say you don’t want high skill immigration
Homeland Security@DHSgov

An alien who is in the U.S. temporarily and wants a Green Card must return to their home country to apply. This policy allows our immigration system to function as the law intended instead of incentivizing loopholes. The era of abusing our nation’s immigration system is over.

@DefiantLs I just can't with these people. She is admitting that she's a diversity hire and she only got in due to her race, but every lib foams at the mouth and calls you a bigot if you point it out and suggest that she's less qualified than those admitted on merit. She says it right here!

@PeterTatchell In the very rare case that real women might be challenged, it's fixed by education. Troons don't look like butch women. They never have short hair for example, and almost always wear feminine clothing since to them being a woman is nothing but mimicking female stereotypes

Toilets & changing rooms must be used on basis of biological sex, new guidance says How will this be policed? It's impossible! Already biological women who are deemed insufficiently feminine are being falsely accused of being trans & harassed. SHAME! bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…

@moultano Getting it delivered, which adds to the base price, adds fees, and of course adds the tip. Easily more than doubles the price especially on smaller orders all because not leaving your couch is a human right

Seeing $28 lunch floating by on the feed made me wonder if I was out of touch, so I checked chipotle around here, not a cheap area. Burritos are still $10.50, and more food than I can eat in one sitting. What are y'all doing?

Some reasons why cooking is overwhelming for many: -They're lazy -They're too stupid to learn how to cook -They prefer to moan instead of trying -They want someone else to do it for them -They're lazy AND stupid AND whiny AND want someone else to do it for them
Deva Hazarika@devahaz

Some reasons why cooking is overwhelming for many: -To cook each cuisine requires different base set of spices, staples, etc -Popular recipes often include obscure, expensive ingredients -Purchasing exact item amts often not possible -Utilizing rest of perishable food challenging

Why has modular construction failed in the United States? "Sweden has used prefabrication to deliver mid- and high-rise housing at competitive cost and high quality for decades, and the explanation has nothing to do with engineering. Sweden has a standardized national building code and, more consequentially, a Public Housing authority that has committed to enough repeat volume to give factories a reason to invest, improve, and stay in business." "In our experience, the building code is as much to blame as land use policy. The U.S. has delegated code development to more than 20,000 local jurisdictions, each with its own byzantine requirements, making it nearly impossible to develop a standard product that can be sold at scale across state lines."

Food stamp work requirements don’t create jobs, they create hunger. If the federal government wanted to help people find work, it would invest in public jobs programs and guarantee a living wage. Instead, it’s punishing people who are already struggling to survive. These rules took effect on March 1, meaning benefit reductions could begin as early as June 1. Find out whether you’re subject to these requirements — and how to stay compliant — by calling 718-SNAP-NOW (718-762-7669).
HRA@NYCHRA

🚨 New federal rules mean that New Yorkers ages 18-64 must now meet work requirements to keep their SNAP benefits. These rules took effect on 3/1, which means reductions in benefits could occur as early as 6/1. Need help? CALL 718-SNAP-NOW (718-762-7669).

@PeterTatchell You're about 15 years out of date. Modern troons don't make a distinction between sex & gender. They think they literally change their biological sex, that they're the same as real women, and any attempt to point out that they are at all different than actual women is bigotry.

Biology & gender identity are 2 different realities. BOTH are valid Trans men & women are not the same as cisgender men & women. They are different but equally valid Trans people can be proud they are unique & special The right to be different is a fundamental human right

$28 per workday is $6740/yr. Invested over the market the last 4 years that would be $39k in the bank, enough for an 8% downpayment on that 436k house. It is insane to be spending 9% of your gross income on a single meal. Costco chicken is $2-3/lb. Rice is practically free.
Mihoda tweet media
Carolina Lion@CarolinaLion2

Oh yeah, somebody spending $20.00 on food a day while making $70,000.00 a year is the reason they are poor and not the fact that the average price of a new car is $50,000.00 and the average house is going for $436,000.00.

I have a jar of peanut butter (extra crunchy) and a loaf of raisin bread always say in my fridge. That’s a standard lunch for me at least a couple times a week. Why can’t zoomers do that?
Jeremiah Johnson 🌐@JeremiahDJohns

The biggest thing happening behind the scenes in the "expensive lunch" discourse is that Zoomers are eating out at ridiculously high rates. It's a silent assumption for a ton of young people that restaurants are a basic necessity, not an occasional treat.
