By the time you are 67 you will have paid over $600,000 into social security That money should be worth $1.9 MILLION DOLLARS assuming a conservative 5% return. Your annual interest would be $95k. Not bad. Instead... The government will pay you $37k annually. AND until you turn 65 you can't borrow against your social security "account". If you die your loved ones don't get anything; the government is the beneficiary. Social security robs from the youth, the people who need $$$ the most, and gives it to rich boomers.
