I'm shocked that you don't see what this has to do with Thune. Many in the grassroots are furious with the RHINO Senate, Thune specifically, but his merry band of henchmen including his best boy Cornyn as well. Working a day and a half a week in the session, ignoring Trump appointments for months at a time... And then the final, arrogant slap in the face ignoring the voting rights act. Are you kidding me?! This isn't about Trump. This is about blatant arrogance by elected officials. Throw the bums out!

Wtf does this have to do with Thune? Trump inserted himself into these races (not normal), endorsed the challengers (not normal), and a massive chunk of the base treats his word as gospel. This says way more about Trump's grip on the party & primary voters punishing "establishment" incumbents than it does about Thune as a leader.
