Following the appalling arson attack against Hatzola in Golders Green, our Chair, Keith Black met with @Keir_Starmer, @wesstreeting, @SteveReedMP, @sarahsackman and other North West London MPs, alongside our communal partners.
The time for words is over and the response cannot be security alone. We must make the ideology which drives someone to burn four ambulances incompatible with British society.

After an antisemitic attack on a Jewish volunteer ambulance service, you’d expect focussed questions about the rise and threat of antisemitism in the UK. Not @edballs on @GMB this morning. Instead, he tried to shift the discussion – asking whether criticism of a mass iftar event in Trafalgar Square is “causing problems” for the Jewish community. This isn’t balance or insight; its poor journalism that misses the point and dilutes the seriousness of antisemitism. Well handled by @DovForman for staying on point.

Last week I raised in Parliament the antisemitic chanting at the Al Quds Day hate protest. The Govt said it would do everything to stamp out antisemitism. One week later four Jewish ambulances torched in Golders Green. Words are not enough. Change the law and proscribe the IRGC.
