@JohnWhitbeck @LoudounGOP You've essentially destroyed the only America First GOP committee in Northern VA. The RPV is a joke and you and your loser consultant cabal are completely irrelevant.

Loudoun Republicans: Your Vote on March 21 Will Decide Our Future The next Chairman of the Loudoun County Republican Committee will be elected at a Mass Meeting 📆 March 21 📍 Fairfax Christian School 22870 Pacific Boulevard, Dulles ⏰ In-person registration opens at 8:30 AM and closes promptly at 10:00 AM. 💵 Participation Fee: $20. You can pay with cash, debit or credit card. 🔗Click the link to pre-register and to pay your $20 participant fee online. vagop10.org/loudoun-county… 🗳 Voting Process Begins: 10:00 AM ⚠️ You do NOT have to be a member of the LCRC to vote for Chairman. Any Loudoun County resident who is a registered voter, willing to sign a document committing to vote Republican in future elections, and shows proper ID, may participate in the election for LCRC Chairman.   ⸻ You may have seen posts from the current LCRC Chairman claiming he is the ONLY candidate for Chairman. That is not true. I am George Taplin, and I am running to be your next Chairman of the LCRC. I am running because our committee — and our party in Loudoun County — must change course. I will be blunt. The Loudoun County Republican Committee is in crisis. We are losing elections. We have lost transparency, accountability, and trust. Meetings meant for planning and winning elections have become chaotic complaint sessions. We are wrapped up in scandals. We have struggled to recruit and properly support candidates for races, failed to staff all polls, and watched good members and volunteers become disenfranchised and walk away. Continuing with the status quo guarantees more dysfunction, more division, more financial irresponsibility, and more lost elections. That is why I am running to be your next Chairman of the LCRC. As Chairman, I will make one goal non-negotiable: getting Republicans elected in Loudoun County. That means restoring transparency, accountability, and fiscal responsibility so trust can be rebuilt. It means refocusing the committee on execution — not infighting. Under my leadership we will: ✅ Recruit and properly support quality candidates ✅ Rebuild a volunteer army to staff every poll and organize year-round ✅ Heal the divide and work cohesively with Republican partners across Virginia ✅ Focus on the issues that matter most to Loudoun County voters — the issues that win elections The LCRC must become what it was meant to be: A professional, mission-driven organization that respects its members, protects donor trust, unites Republicans, and delivers results. Under my leadership, every member will be heard and valued — not sidelined by chaos or ignored by leadership. This election is about restoring trust, rebuilding our organization, and winning again. If you believe Loudoun Republicans deserve better, I respectfully ask for your vote on March 21 — and bring your friends and family. Every single vote matters. Together, we will rebuild our committee, unite our party, and win again. Respectfully, George Taplin Candidate for Chairman Loudoun County Republican Committee

Important grassroots events coming up on Monday & Tuesday hosted by my friend @JasonMiyaresVA. This illegal and unfair gerrymandering referendum must be defeated on April 21 and the people are getting fired up to protect their rights. Turn out and spread the word: Vote NO!
Jason Miyares@JasonMiyaresVA

As Co-Chair of @VA_forFairMaps, I am all-in to stop this unfair and undemocratic attempt to redraw our Congressional maps and silence millions of people. In 2020, Virginians made it clear they didn’t want career politicians drawing districts for their friends and allies. We must vote NO to stop this partisan power grab. I will be holding 8 grassroots events on Monday and Tuesday to rally Virginians to VOTE NO on April 21st and to oppose this amendment. I hope you will join me in this fight.

Barry would have loved this headline. He relished the narrative that he was merely a humble hog farmer, which I fully believed right up until the time he mentioned his helicopter. RIP, sir. pilotonline.com/2026/02/19/vir…

Taking care of our warfighters and righting past wrongs are top priorities for @SecWar and @SECNAV. Today, Under Secretary Hung Cao signed an apology letter to our warriors of conscience who were unjustly removed from service by the unlawful COVID-19 vaccine mandate, and we are working hard to welcome them back.

@VaChangeAgent Forget about your petty attacks on me and answer my question. Why would it be negative to be affiliated with Miyares?

A Guy on X Striving to be the VA Change Agent
In my view, Ken Paxton has been the strongest attorney general in the country. And let’s be honest about the context here: you were paid $417,000 by Miyares’s campaign in the last election cycle — and you’ll likely be back on the payroll the next time he runs for something. That’s why questions like “Why would ties to the Miyares political operation matter?” ring hollow. When you’re financially tied to the operation, it’s hard to claim you’re outside of it. If you don’t see the influence, it may be because you’re part of the system that benefits from it.

A Guy on X Striving to be the VA Change Agent
👉For any Virginia SCC members still undecided, this is a moment to think carefully about what “change” actually means for the RPV. Nick Proffitt is closely tied to the Youngkin and Miyares political operations, and many see his candidacy as a continuation of the same establishment leadership structure that’s defined the party for years. There may be multiple names on the ballot, but the real question is whether this election produces a genuine break from the current power network — or simply reshuffles it. For those who want a different direction, that distinction matters and the options aren't Nick or the lady.
A Guy on X Striving to be the VA Change Agent@VaChangeAgent

@EricLDaugh I usually appreciate your posts, but this one leaves out a key point. Today was Youngkin’s last day as Virginia’s governor, and neither he nor Miyares made a serious effort to address election integrity in the state. In fact, Miyares fired a new hire after it came out — via a Washington Post story — that she had posted on her private Facebook page, before being hired, that the 2020 election was fraudulent. That decision sent a clear message about where the administration stood. From my perspective, the only real impact Youngkin had on Virginia elections was in 2023 and 2025 when he sabotaged them — and not in a positive way. I’m glad Harmeet is taking legal action, but both Youngkin and Miyares failed big time when it came to defending election integrity in Virginia as well as education. Now we’ve got the Virginia Republican Party chair election set for January 31, 2026, and the name being floated as “the man to beat” is Nick Proffitt. Proffitt comes straight out of the Miyares operation — he was a close campaign aide and part of that inner circle. And once again, Youngkin appears to be stepping in behind the scenes, playing God again, and working to line up support and steer the outcome. It’s the same insider choreography Virginia Republicans have watched for years. Proffitt is young and most of his experience comes from navigating the establishment machine, not challenging it. That’s exactly the problem. The RPV doesn’t need another operator trained in how the system protects itself — it needs leadership willing to break from the playbook that’s delivered failure after failure over the last four to six years. If this race turns into another insider handoff, don’t call it reform. Call it more of the same.
