I kick-off my #CPHIA2023 journey this morning, moderating a panel of established and emerging women leaders to discuss the workplace reality and the wounds sustained in ensuring access to equitable, quality health care. Forget the amounts involved, what’s huge is the budget support component. Lack of confidence in many of our countries’ PFM systems means donors by-passing national systems and creating parallel structures. Kudos President HH!

It looks like everything but success or best practice, if on this day and age we have an all male panel to discuss an inherently woman issue. Nothing about us without us! No wonder patriarchy and misogyny is still rampant on the continent.
