My response here had absolutely nothing to do with supporting violence or homophobia. Those claims I’ve been accused with are incredibly stupid. And it’s not because I’m buddies with Manhat and I’m not giving him high fives for what he did. His actions were also incredibly stupid. I’m also not diminishing your interactions with him in the past. It’s this: 80% of people experience road rage. Basically, everyone can lose their temper and be a dumb ass. We should be understanding of anyone in this situation but also aware we control our emotions even when someone spits on our car. Also, public humiliation can lead to severe anxiety, depression and even suicides. I never want to be the source of something like that. I want to be more of a source for kindness even with my enemies. I want to be more of a positive voice in the world. I can condemn the actions but also be charitable to the human. You still may not agree with me, and that’s fine. I can have space in my head for a different opinion. Can you? *Now, back to my Twitter break which hasn’t really started yet.
