@mybmc @CMOMaharashtra @OfficeofUT what is the charge for covid test for passengers quarantining in hotels ? Do you know they charge different amounts to every passenger ? The collected money and didn’t gave a receipt! Shame on your handling of this entire process.

@mybmc I am currently quarantined in a hotel and a guy from BMC conducted a covid test, collected Rs 1000 from me and didn’t give me receipt . So could you please clarify where that money really goes ?? @CMOMaharashtra @OfficeofUT

@CSMIA_Official @RajeevS95421486 @CSMIA_Official thanks for the latest update just to clarify, you mean to say institutional quarantine only if the passengers are symptomatic else asymptomatic can be exempt from quarantine. Hope I read that correct. Please advise. 🙏

@mybmc please get the hotel staff in quarantine tested for the virus every 3 days . What if they are infecting the ones who have come here to see their parents after 2 years. Please be logical enough!

@melvinalphonso @vora_rucha If you come down you’ll notice 50% people are without masks roaming on streets of Mumbai including the bmc staff who are wearing it for name sake with their noses peeping out . They are in contact with 2000 passengers without gloves . How would you know where you got the virus .

@melvinalphonso @vora_rucha Depends - it took 9 hrs for me to reach my hotel and I didn’t wanted to spend my time here in quarantine. The challenge I see is the contracting virus through the Hotel Staff and the BMC people who escort you because they aren’t testing themselves as often.

@melvinalphonso @vora_rucha There was a case yesterday on 7th day in quarantine and he was taken to 7 hills hospital. He might well be spending his holidays in hospital . The point is you won’t be able to justify if you get the virus . They treat you as if you are carrying it.

@DuhitaNaware @vora_rucha @JWSahar No it’s random depends on the number of flights arriving at that point in time. You can be with someone from Singapore , Middle East and they drop passengers in random fashion at their hotels . The drivers do not know your hotel so you have to tell them the way.

@tiashok @truebeliever53 Absolutely, what if I am returning back in 7 days, what if I am returning back in 10 days - there’s no information available which is pretty understandable of how Indian govt works - unorganized and a complete lack of information.

@priya_lakkol Please dm me I am a bit restricted with the words on twitter msgs. Perhaps, you should take some other airport with quarantine exemption. I know it’s a hassle I am stuck in a hotel room and not allowed to use the lobby .

@CSMIA_Official can you please confirm if there is mandatory institutional quarantine for travellers coming from Canada even If they have the COVID negative test reports. Also have heard a lot of people are minting money by forcefully asking people to take their packages
