@idek338048 @KATHRYNSTEVO @HighwaysSWEST @ASPolice Traffic builds at approx a mile a minute, closing roads isn’t something that takes seconds as even with signals people ignore them. They are working as fast as they can. To be blunt, you don’t want to see what they can so that’s the reason you can’t go past.

Mum reckons they are most likely to move when the road re-opens. What a shit show. Why they didn’t put a block in and enforce the diversion before 7pm is a definite investigation to be opened.

@HighwaysSWEST Where's the help for the thousands stranded with no food, water, vital medication or information who may be vulnerable? You're causing more harm, open a lane and move traffic before you make a bad situation worse

More traffic has joined and is being allowed to turn around before any consideration for those who have been stuck the longest. This was alerted to services at 6:40pm how has more traffic been able to keep joining?

@roboflipp @ASPolice @HighwaysSWEST A better solution to the current one needs to be found. My elderly parents have been trapped for 3hrs 20mins so far and there is a guy 2 miles ish behind them who is yet to be turned around. I see them there at least another 3 hours
