Purposefully turning off the halftime show Let’s rally together and show big corporations they can’t just do whatever they want without consequences (which equals viewership for them) You are their benefit. The policy and quotas led to new hires who aren’t forced to complete background checks, let alone be trained. Look at the number of journalists who’ve applied to ICE, never submitted a background check or drug test, and received notices that they’d been hired anyway.

What most likely happened is an ice officer accidentally fired their weapon and the rest of them got spooked and killed an unarmed innocent man. This is because they’re dumb untrained psycho animals who know they’ll be defended if they kill the wrong person.

I served 16 unblemished years as a major City Police Officer. Served on Patrol, with Vice, as a Detective and School Resource Officer, rounded it out with 6 years on SWAT.
Not one formal complaint.
It's getting harder and harder to hold my tongue.
Are they doing background checks? Psych tests? Polygraphs? Are they even getting trained?
Politics aside, something is very very broken.

There are a ton of Harvard educated lawyers who quit their BigLaw job the day after they make their last loan payment and work for the federal government.
It will always be more interesting to work at the state department than for a big law firm or anonymous corporation
