Our inaugral State Visit to Kazakhstan has deepened our appreciation of the remarkable progress the nation has achieved since attaining independence from the former Soviet Union in 1991. Kazakhstan’s transformation into a modern, dynamic, and influential State in Central Asia stands as a testament to visionary leadership, resilience, and strategic economic planning. The lessons drawn from the country's development journey will greatly inform and enrich Kenya’s own economic growth and industrialisation agenda. To further strengthen the longstanding friendship and expand diplomatic and engagement between Kenya and Kazakhstan, Kenya will soon establish an Office of the Consul-General in Astana. We extend our sincere gratitude to President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev for the warm hospitality accorded to us throughout the visit. We also look forward to welcoming him to Kenya in the near future on a reciprocal State Visit.

I strongly condemn the violent attack on gospel artist Rachel Wandeto for merely expressing her political preference. This is unacceptable in Kenya, a country that has repeatedly said “never again” to political violence. The continued and dangerous trend of violence, especially towards women who dare to hold alternative views, is unacceptable. Such conduct must be condemned by all, particularly those whose supporters may have carried out this vile act, unless it was done with their tacit support or blessing. On this issue, there can be no partisanship. I call on law enforcement to swiftly investigate, bring the culprits to book, and ensure justice is served. Pole sana Rachel. 🙏🏾 #JusticeForRachelWandeto #StopPoliticalViolence @NPSOfficial_KE @DCI_Kenya

@makaumutua This a pale shadow of @makaumutua I knew at Kenya Human rights Commission in 1900s. Is old age taking toll on the good professor or he is just becoming irrelevant in Kenya’s political landscape? Money can make a fool out of the best brains.

I visited Rachael Muthoni in hospital , the woman who was doused in petrol for tattooing President William Ruto’s photo on her chest. Wamunyoro, you cannot escape accountability for this barbaric attack. Targeting someone like this is indefensible. Hata kama ni siasa, this is not the way to go. The brutal attack she endured ni ya unyama. Mr. Dorcas, hii hautaeupuka!!

May God grant the family and friends strength to bear with the loss of Mzee Eshbon Thuku, the dear father to Kinangop MP Zachary Kwenya. Mzee was one of a kind; hardworking, progressive, amiable and devoted to serving the community. Be comforted by the word of the Lord in Psalms 46:1: “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”

@RobertAlai President, Governors, MPs & MCAs, seeking reelection should resign from office 2 years before elections to ensure that the ground remains neutral for even their competitors. You can’t have advantaged individuals controlling NGCDF, public resources and expect fair competition.

@RobertAlai Donge en demand-supply oriented. He is not a fool to invest where there is no demand (market). He has been in that business for long to understand it better than you. You are just tribal chauvinist. I don’t understand how you are a politician in a cosmopolitan society

The owner of Montezuma must really have a tribal mind which takes Kisumu as only full of dying flies whose biggest investment near a highway is a 150 capacity mortuary. In Nairobi they have a 48 capacity mortuary but they think that Kisumu must get a bigger one.

Standing firm on principle, Hon. Otiende @OAmollo has amplified the call for constitutional order within ODM. He revealed that out of 41 NEC members, only him, Milly Odhiambo & Timothy Bosire rejected the move to oust @edwinsifuna as SG, as unprocedural.
