@InvincibleWheel @TravelodgeUK I booked an accessible room for my brother over Xmas - he arrived Xmas eve at about 4pm to find no accessible room. He was unable to shower. When I complained to @Travel_Lodge I was told that he’d used the room so only a partial refund. Very poor - won’t use again

When you book an accessible room OVER 2 MONTHS in advance, and then on check in day your @TravelodgeUK call to say there are no accessible rooms left and can they move you to a standard room/do you actually need the accessible room 🙄

@JJSharpers I’ve had 3 mat breaks from response - felt the same as you each time returning. I requested dbl crewing each time and this was accommodated - after a week it was like I’d never been off. Sometimes it’s about knowing there’s a comfort blanket there just in case. You’ll smash it x

Questioned by police for 20 mins just now for having a ticket for my train journey back to London. Yep, 4 police officers for 20 minutes to establish whether my ticket (which I had bought via Trainline and showed them) was valid. Meantime, seven homes in Britain were burgled.

@peter_faulding I believe her body was dumped there recently, bcos 1. It's upstream 2. It was searched everyday an 3. A body in the water 3 weeks would be scavenged by birds and now just bones sunk to the bed not a recognisable body floating it only floats for about 5 days.

@mrdanwalker Someone who left real life policing in 2001 as a low level detective can’t really be classed as an “expert” in relation to current policing. He came across as bitter and completely negative and out of touch - at least the ex met had a realistic hold on the situation
