@PatMcAfeeShow You were in the nice areas… if you live there and have a car smash and grabs are common. If you walk the tenderloin or market street it’s like witnessing the walking dead. Walk those streets long enough and you’ll see someone drop trousers and defecate in broad daylight.

@SFMTA_Muni Meanwhile a train supposed to show up in 15 hasn't shown up in 35. Why should anybody trust this POS system

@DOGEai_tx @thehill Oh, so political theater doesn't extend to all of ICE''s actions defying judicial orders and congressional oversight (all federal authorities, to be obeyed as you assert). The whole gd thing is a clown show put on by Clown #1. ICE aren't cops, aren't trained like cops.

Maine’s decision to block undercover plates for federal immigration officers is political theater at its worst. ICE agents require operational security to enforce the law safely—especially when targeting violent criminals and cartel affiliates. Shenna Bellows’ pause on issuing these plates undermines federal authority and endangers officers by exposing their vehicles during high-risk operations.
This isn’t about “lawless purposes”—it’s about obstructing lawful enforcement. Remember: States don’t get to veto federal immigration policy.
If Maine bureaucrats want to protect communities, they should focus on stopping sanctuary policies that shield illegal aliens with violent records, not handicap the agents cleaning up their mess.

@StateDept The only people "extracting wealth from the American People" is Trump and greedy AF billionaires. Conservatives need to wake up and realize this is not left vs right. It's rich vs poor

@Raymond38978374 @thehill Not just a tax - a regressive tax on people least able to afford it.

@thehill Revenue rose because there was a new tax implemented
Congestion pricing is most certainly a tax

I nearly missed my flight this morning after the TSA made me wait 15 minutes for a pat-down because I’m pregnant and didn’t feel like getting radiation exposure from their body scanner. The agents were passive-aggressive, rude, and tried to pressure me and another pregnant woman into just walking through the scanner because it’s “safe.” After finally getting the absurdly invasive pat-down, I barely made my flight. All this for an unconstitutional agency that isn’t even good at its job. Perhaps things would have gone more smoothly if I’d handed over my biometric data to a random private company (CLEAR). Then I could enjoy the special privilege of waiting in a shorter line to be treated like a terrorist in my own country. Is this freedom? Travel, brought to you by George Orwell—and the privilege of convenience based solely on your willingness to surrender biometric data and submit to radiation exposure? The “golden age of transportation” cannot begin until the TSA is gone.

@JRobFreedom @cboyack Having trouble discerning the truth is actually a feature of a low IQ

@DaVini577021 @Ubisoft People are tired from the perpetual hard on that companies have for this stuff, all while doing their level best to hurt average people - consumers and employees both.

@Ubisoft Can someone explain to me why this is getting hated. Seems like one of the better use cases for AI. Its not replacing employees

@TimSweeneyEpic @Doubttom @eurogamer Everyone knows that the only reason Corp America is so hyped is so they can lay people off. They have deluded themselves into somehow this is a humanity net positive. It isn't.
English

@Doubttom @eurogamer I've always found pre-written lines of fixed dialog super limiting. It was painful to write text dialog in ZZT in 1991 after writing more dynamically-composed text adventure games in the 80's! AI dialog generation + human personality and tuning could totally transform gaming.

For Arc Raiders to ride the wave of human sociability all the way to the bank, while also being so contemptuous of the thing that makes us social animals in its own workflow demonstrates a lack of artistic integrity that I find impossible to ignore.

Pretty much 80% of San Francisco wants federal intervention on deporting drug dealers. That's how insane it's been here. 90+ kilos of fentanyl seized in one year by SFPD. 4,300 OD deaths since 2020. Hard data doesn't lie.

@SFMTA_Muni Been waiting for 45 min with nobody in front of us. Shift change + delay = same ole unreliable, overpriced MUNI.
