@SICKYDOESMMA @MV33Racing @Shay99087 Lol this isnt true because the drivers are lifting and coasting into corners meaning nobody actually needs to brake late, which is the point P. Windsor was making. G. Russell lifts very early for corners as it generates more boost. You dont even understand what your watchin

@MV33Racing @Shay99087 It’s gone away because the cars are lighter and they are different aerodynamically and Lewis can now brake later and feel more comfortable. It’s a lot different and doesn’t completely nerf Lewis’ best attribute

#AusGP 🇦🇺 | Lewis Hamilton says he refuses to retire before racing in Africa. “I’ve had the privilege, I’ve been to 10 countries now in Africa, there’s still so much more for me to see... For the past six years, I think, maybe seven, I’ve been fighting in the background to get a Grand Prix. Sitting with the stakeholders and asking them ‘why are we not in Africa? We’re on every other continent, why not Africa?’” “I know they’re really trying. I think they’ve been to quite a few different countries. The ones that I’ve enjoyed the most so far, I loved Kenya, Rwanda particularly was spectacular. Two places I felt like I could live in. South Africa is stunning. I think those are the ones that I think would be good places for us to potentially go to.” “I don’t want to leave the sport within having a Grand Prix there, without getting to race there. I’m gonna be here for a while until that happens because that’ll be amazing, given that I’m half African.”

@SirVivMilton @kubek_10 You guys judge F1 like kids. Lewis is a good driver but he spent a long time in the fastest machinery, In his prime years he was beaten by Button and Rosberg so what make you think Leclerc couldnt have beat prime Lewis?

@kubek_10 If Lewis at 41 with the car he likes can beat Charles somehow ,then Lewis in his prime will treat him as button Even if Lewis beat him ,prime Lewis is 5 times better than whatever he is now So tht just proves tht Charles is not even close to 5 tier below Lewis

Firstly let’s see if Charles will be in f1 at 41 And secondly let’s see if he actually will be as fast as he is now at 41 Coz it’s quite literally impossible to be at“ur best” at 41 This is human biology not some fictional story Even if he beats 16 it will be his inferior version
Varun@VarunS_05

@C2ncel_me @ElPredestinato Okay now if that’s true he has to match Leclerc this season because he’s saying he is comfortable with this car and has his dna!! If he doesn’t your claim is just plain bullshit and don’t come here claiming Hamilton has lost 2 and half tenths all of a sudden because of age!

@FormulaUR_ On sky sports they said Lewis didnt evn do a proper race run, he never did more than 10laps plus all of his 10lap runs were not done in hotter temps where are you getting that from they were all on track doing runs with a 1hr20 to go lol.

I’ve crunched some numbers for the race simulations, with 2 graphics. The first graphic on the left shows VER vs PIA vs HAM comparing their representative stints from the PM race simulations. The caveat here is that Hamilton started his race simulation with a track temperature of 40.3 degrees compared to Verstappen’s 31.1 degrees and Piastri’s 30.5 degrees. As HAM only did 10 laps on the C3 and 8 on the C2 before the red flag, this compares the first 10 and 8 laps respectively of all 3 drivers. Overall, Piastri ended up quickest with an average of 1.39.054, followed by Verstappen at an average of 1.39.104 (+0.050s) and Hamilton at 1.39.154 (+0.100s). Taking individual stints, we see discrepancies in Verstappen and Piastri’s performance relative to each other on each compound, with Hamilton there or thereabouts on both compounds. Hamilton suffers much more extreme degradation on the C3 tyre than Verstappen, although this could be due to his much higher track temperature. On both compounds, he averages around a tenth slower than Verstappen. Piastri’s C3 stint was rather poor, lapping slower than Hamilton on a cooler track before overturning it entirely on the C2 tyre. Overall, the picture looks good for Ferrari - similar to last week.

@F1_Jordan @AzhizKala Ferrari actually put sensors in that would trick the FIA so it's a little different because they were knowingly being deceptive with there engine. Mercedes are not doing that.

@kingsleymomor @thef1diplomat It is different because Merc made the FIA aware of what they were doing with the PU and the FIA accepted it was all within the rules, but because other teams have not figured it out they are trying to protest what has already been accepted.

Crazy stat for the day, Max always makes the most of it. His ability to secure a win is top tier From 2017 to 2023: Mercedes much better than Red Bull = 4 years (2017-2020) Red Bull much better than Mercedes = 2 years (2022-2023) Equal = 2021 Number of wins? Lewis - 50 Max - 53

@Naiago_edt @afmllk1F2 @SirVivMilton Rosberg was never great he was a good driver in a great car. Look at him as soon as it rained in 2016 Max would school him in a car 8tenths a lap slower. Before 2014 nobody saw Rosberg as a future champion. Its like saying Villeneuve is a great.

@50PlusGamer1970 @Oreo74747 @thanos876 1 sprint win doesn't mean you can be below par for the rest of the season. A drivers job is to maximise what they have. Lewis has very rarely got the maximum out of the car.

FIRST time in his career this has happened. FIRST time in his career he’ll go a season without a podium ( F1 record 18 consecutive seasons) FIRST time in his career he’ll finish outside the top 6. Going to this fucking team was a curse!!!

Hard to see light at the end of the tunnel for Lewis Hamilton at the moment. This is an utterly bleak run of form. Out in Q1 in Vegas. Out in SQ1 in Qatar yesterday. Out in Q1 today for Qatar GP.

@Joephadima @the_zb_ You do understand that these issues affect every driver on the grid you have to adapt. You act like Lewis is the only driver to have tires not in the perfect window. Fact is his race pace this season has been average and even he knows it.

How do you give such a long missive and avoid dealing with two substantive issues that have characterised the essence of this season’s poor performance, outside of his need to readjust to a new team😳 Team strategy - getting tyres in the right window will affect any driver negatively. Releasing the car at wrong times in qualifiers affects grid placement - team strategy that was order of almost every weekend Not providing the right information to enable a driver to know when to push, conserve tyres, cool breaks, pit, look out for other drivers to avoid penalties, etc - Adami Getting car set ups wrong - team Brazil, illustrated this very last fact when Max demanded what worked for him after horrible practise sessions and qualifiers. The team listened and it worked magic. It’s not a miracle 🤷🏽‍♂️

I’ve sat on this for 12 hours to process. And I’m still so, so concerned by this. This is the most alarming, downright morbidly toned interview Lewis has had yet. I feel for him, he is clearly not in a great headspace right now. I get that he wears his emotions on his sleeve, but there’s only so many times you can say things like “I’m useless”, or “this is a nightmare”, or “it keeps getting worse”… and then straight up say you are not looking forward to next year? This isn’t a matter of some weird “respect” dynamic, just on a practical level, how long until somebody from the organization is going to move to panic stations over this deeply negative and morose mindset and… call it a day on this arrangement? I don’t want to see that happen. But how much longer can this roller coaster of “I’ll never give up, I back myself” followed by “it just keeps getting worse no matter what I do, and I’m not excited for 2026” keep going? How much longer does Lewis himself want this to keep going? Right now, that seems unsure. I’m now uncertain about whether this union continues next year, and I have not for one second questioned 2026 until this moment. I’ve viewed it as the much needed reset point for Lewis. Contracts in F1 are meaningless, as we know, so the existence of an agreement provides little certainty in light of the current mood. This is not going well, and I hope it stabilizes rather than implodes. I’m afraid it’s not as far from the latter as we might have thought.

🚨| Sir Lewis Hamilton has said he is 'not looking forward to' 2026: "It's a terrible result. There is nothing positive to take from today. I'm eager for it to end, I'm looking forward to it ending. I'm not looking forward to the next one." Lewis was then asked if that meant he was not looking forward to the next race in Qatar, he replied: "Next season."
