Ugandans lining up to obey this illegal executive order to sweep your own streets, you are voluntarily auditioning for the role of unpaid municipal workers. You already hand over taxes so the local councils can keep your environment clean. Yet here you are, out in the dust, performing the very service you financed while the officials sit comfortably indoors, waiting for the next collection. Are you stupid?
It is the same madness as buying a fierce dog to guard against wild animals, then sleeping outside yourself while the dog lounges on the sofa, tail wagging, waiting for its next meal.
If the councils cannot deliver the cleanliness they are paid to provide, let them stop collecting the money at once and restore genuine Bulungi Bwansi community work done by free choice, not under bureaucratic command. You cannot charge people transport fares, promise to drive them to their destination, and then demand they purchase the vehicle themselves. Foolish Galatians indeed.

When Mariam Wangadiya “lamented” that @UHRC_UGANDA had become a dumping ground for political failures and people with HIV (the worst thing to be said by anyone let alone a Human Rights Commission head), I wished I was at that conference to ask her if the political failures and the HIV people are the reason she dismissed a complaint about missing people saying @NUP_Ug was “weaponizing and manipulating abduction claims”, in 2023. Why she said they were non-existent even after their family members went to her crying or that they went abroad for greener pastures? Or why she ordered security to force @HEBobiwine for expressing himself about how the commission, for over 5?years, disregarded his complaint over the unlawful blockade of his concerts.

Then, a week ago, that toad-yam height of a thug prime minister made a grand show of flagging off “relief food”… food that has never arrived. Perhaps mabaati-thief @AnitahAmong helped herself to it the same way she helped herself to those iron sheets.
How bitterly ironic that these same NRM nincompoops who never stop yapping about imperialism only spring into action after the “imperialists” broadcast the catastrophe and only after they themselves have muzzled every independent voice that could have reported it first.

In your recent video, you apologised to Ugandans and reminded us you are a single mother and breadwinner for your family. We heard you loud and clear. I bet! even the bread cried a little. Yet, many of the citizens harassed and wounded under your watch were also single mothers — fellow breadwinners dodging bullets while chasing school fees at the same time. They too deserved protection especially through @UHRC_UGANDA, not persecution.
As you serve, please do not segregate. Treat every Ugandan as your own, as though it were you or your children in those basements and torture chambers. Impartiality is not optional; it is your job description.
Your decision to resign was the best decision you have ever made since joining the Commission and Ugandans will be happy if you do not hesitate and move on.

Anyone who cheers the performative antics of @JustineNameere and @BalaamBarugahar is not merely misguided but an embarrassment to serious political discourse. You celebrate raw individualism while simultaneously lamenting the collapse of institutional order. You cannot have it both ways.
You have systematically stripped power from our public institutions, ie, Parliament, the judiciary, the civil service, and redistributed it to transient personalities and ethnic factions. Then you ask, with feigned toad surprise, why those institutions lie prostrate and ineffective.
This is not complexity but intellectual dishonesty. Equally culpable are those who applaud cannibal @mkainerugaba and senile @KagutaMuseveni as saviors. Such cheerleading is the refuge of the imbecile. It is the triumph of dynastic loyalty over constitutionalism.
When the inevitable decay sets in, these same voices turn around and wail: What happened to our institutions? Yes, you happened to them. You dismantled them in service of personality cults. You belong, not in the chambers of governance, but in the wards of Butabika where delusion is at least treated, not celebrated as patriotism.
