I find it amusing how these digital no(MAD)s tend to exaggerate things.
Dude is clearly riding the hype wave and coping it'll turn into $1M ARR. It reminds me of dropshipping, just capitalizing on a trendy product for a short period with minimal engineering quality, which explains why he's deploying everything on a VPS.
It feels like a constant chase after the trends, with their entire purpose revolving around metrics like MRR and ARR. That mindset isn't how truly game changing products come to life.
If companies like Airbnb, Facebook, Google, Uber etc.. had been solely focused on "ARR" they likely would have never come into existence
Noticed that many of his copycats gained more traction now that coding has become significantly easier with the help of AI.
While I'm happy that AI makes life easier but it's disappointing to see it leading to an inflated market filled with low quality products.

Without AI it would have taken me 10-100x more time and I would have simply not been able to build this and maintain it at the same speed AI really is a creativity and speed maximizer for me, making me just way more creative and more fast I still mostly use @cursor_ai + @AnthropicAI Claude 3.5 and trying 3.7 too now! I'm excited to get more time in the next few days so I can really add some new things, one thing I want is to put a big 3d leaderboard INSIDE the game with the scores on it for example
