@B1gDaddyMarv I like they tiers the way they are, but 1st party, and 3rd party day one should be in the middle tier. The top tier should be for added subscriptions like ea+, ubisoft+, wow, etc. I also like the family plan, but that should go on the top tier.

If I were Asha Sharma, this is what I would do to add value to Xbox Game Pass, while ensuring that Xbox will always be the best place to play Xbox games. ▪️Every first-party live service game’s battle pass is included in your subscription. ▪️Game Pass subscribers receive a 10% discount on in-game purchases in all first-party live service games. ▪️Every first-party live service game has either modes or skins/loot that are exclusive to Game Pass subscribers. ▪️Game Pass Ultimate subscribers get 2 days of early access to all first-party Game Pass games included in their subscription. ▪️Add a family plan to Game Pass Ultimate without increasing its cost.

@thicc_stick_boi Uhh, it’s been six years. It’s still very fast (Xbox is fast too) - over the last six years, NVMe drives have increased in speed, believe it or not. So the PC landscape in 2026 is not the same as 2020. Moving to SSDs across the board was awesome.

@JezCorden It looks *great*. This is a first pass at the technology. If you think it’s remotely uncanny valley version 6 or 7 will end the debate this is the future. The reality? People hate it because it’s AI and it will cost jobs, if those graphics were human made it would be praised.

Xbox Mode needs work, but it's a great starting point for making PC a bit more controller friendly.

Dee, Xbox sx games are pc games (exe) but locked to an xbox license, they run on a hypervisor (vm) And use there own packager, but they are then same code base. next gen they move the packager over I be thinking to a all in one packager, an updated version of main then for the other stores You have to run things like GeForce now, but local i.e. The pc stores game will run in there own hypervisor and the store will have to make its own app if they like to sell games (as per the epic report), there you have to pay a cut to ms/xbox games Will auto port in as per geforce now if there no store and run like with GeForce now within the hypervisor as this is all the open stores running in the locked license box, the Xbox license games will keep on running this is just one way of doing things, but all none Xbox linked things will run on there own hypervisor, the above is the most locked down way of doing things, it ip to them how they open things up

this is the exact scenario for what I think Project Helix will be 1. Helix games - native 2. PC games (Steam, Epic, etc) - native 3. Series/One games - native 4. 360/XboxOG games - emulation Excited for GDC to end the speculation so we know what to expect

THIS is an "Old School" mindset that *WILL* not be the the norm in the next generation of #ProjectHelix. Here's why: * 99.3% of current PC gamers play on low to mid range hardware, Less 1% have high-end rigs. * The NEW @Xbox will be "Cost Effective" Vs NEW PC parts and offer "Top Tier" performance, while offering multiple options via @Alienware @ASUS @Lenovo and other OEM's with a price range to fit the gamers budget. * A way more cost effective way to upgrade hardware and still maintain the freedom of PC!

@oliver_drk Companies change plans all the time. Two big changes that may bring the fans back would be restructuring gamepass and bringing back exclusives.

Even if this “blank check” rumor from EXtas1stv is accurate: How can Xbox put the genie back in the bottle after “This is an Xbox” and multiplatform approach? It would take several years, and by this time Satya Nadella retires and his successor might think differently.

@JezCorden @longislandviper It is a big chess game with these companies. For one thing, we don't know what changes will be made in the immediate future. Will xbox return to exclusivity, will they subsidize the next console? Could Sony already know something about upcoming structural changes to xbox?

@longislandviper if sony wasn't concerned about what xbox was doing they wouldn't constantly spend $$ on deals that specifically exclude xbox, nor would they charge devs a tax for cross-play with xbox IMO. its not why they do everything, but it is a factor imo.

I will say this: If you think Sony is pulling back on PC because of the next Xbox — a piece of hardware that will not only sell substantially worse than Xbox Series, but would allow Sony to sell its games on a storefront without Microsoft receiving a penny — you’re out to lunch.

@Alien_Highjinx @Xbox_Series_XS @GamePass They should restructure the tiers. The $20 tier should include every 1st party game, and 3rd party games. The $30 tier would include EA Play+, Ubisoft+, in game subscriptions like WoW, FF14, ESO, etc.

Fine by me. Then return Game Pass Ultimate to $19.99 and allow Microsoft Rewards to redeem Game Pass codes, like we used to.
