@etugino2 @LTwit11 @KateFlood Going privately? Good if you can afford it, I suppose. Long term use is tricky, though.

@shepsswift @ContorSien1527 @KateFlood Shouldn’t be a lottery, my son now has to cope in a full time job without the meds he urgently needs. Can barely afford to live so paying for his medication isn’t an option. 😔

Literally this. To access meds privately requires paying for another in house consultant and in total would be about £2-3k extra

@KateFlood My son is experiencing the same problem, can’t get meds on NHS because he was previously diagnosed privately. Will have to be seen by NHS psychiatrist which might take years.

@jamiemonk @EmiratesSupport We were lucky and were able to get last minute flights before prices were hiked. Husband was due to fly with Etihad but flights were continuously cancelled. Good luck!
English

@LTwit11 @EmiratesSupport Unfortunately, right now it’s really really not cheap.

Starting to doubt if our trip home to Thailand in April will be possible. Emirates has changed our outbound flight so it arrives in Dubai 30 minutes before the flight to Bangkok. Hoping that changes again! @EmiratesSupport

@Warren42368203 Sorry to hear you've been without service. If you send us a DM with more details we can look into this for you.

Pay your bill Wednesday they cut you off Friday. Ring them and say bill has been paid, Saturday they ask for proof. You send the proof but that department dont work weekends. So they ask for a £75 payment to get services back on. Shower of shite @virginmedia dont respond please

@lowflyingsquab Took my husband nearly a year. Don’t forget to wear your suit!
English

Hi @virginmedia I just sent you an urgent DM relating to your bereavement policies and procedures. Could you please respond?

@ThaiAirways Really nice plane, flew on one this week but the catches for the tray tables must be driving the crew crazy!

@Heccles94 I recently found out that NHS staff have to pay for hospital parking too. Despicable

@ClipInsanity Pick them up and carry them in anyway - one of the best childhood privileges

Four days after leaving hospital with an emergency lung infection, Mum is back in hospital again after collapsing at home. The doctors think it may be a reaction to blood pressure tablets.
These are very tough times because just as serious as Mom's condition is the fact that Dad is struggling to cope.
I suppose I seem to be getting nearer and nearer to flying home but it's not an easy decision to drop everything. My life and wife are here. There's the fact it's a long-haul flight and the obvious 'last minute' expense. And I've already booked a return flight to go over in July.
Going backwards and forwards on economy class long haul flights ain't easy. And as my Dad is quick to remind me - "You're no spring chicken yourself"
My going back will actually just add another level of stress for him, anyway. How are you getting back to your brother's house? (I don't drive) Have you had something to eat? Oh, my God, you haven't come all that way? How much was the fare? That's how my Dad is. It's just another level of stress for him.
However, my appearance might give him the jolt to realise they need help - professional carers to pop in every couple of days and to wash and clean, etc. Spend some of that money that's squirreled away in bank accounts.

@ReferenceEtihad I have messaged Etihad help but they haven’t responded for 40 mins?

@Phuket_Sammy The date of departure flight gets me - erm, I don’t have one…..

It amuses me that I have to put "friend's house" on the Thai arrival card, even with a long term visa... for my own damn house. 🤔😂

@LTwit11 Mine took 2 visits, hardest part (for me) was getting my bank to provide the necessary paperwork and confirmation letter all stamped and official, actual immigration was relatively ok
