Emirates has now adjusted the Bangkok flight slightly so we have 70 minutes between arriving and departing. Might buy some new running shoes before this trip.

Starting to doubt if our trip home to Thailand in April will be possible. Emirates has changed our outbound flight so it arrives in Dubai 30 minutes before the flight to Bangkok. Hoping that changes again! @EmiratesSupport

@PermaBull2024 @EmiratesSupport Because it’s Emirates, so they fly UK to Thailand via Dubai, this is the normal route, only the time has changed.

@TrulsBergNorge @Ajarncom I am jealous of people who can sleep on a flight. I cannot sleep, if I could a longer direct flight would be great!

@jamiemonk @Ajarncom I understand. But for me I think there is allways a risk having a stop extra. I have tried this 2-3 times and I did not like to wake up in the middle of a sleep to wait 2-4 hours for the next leg.. I prefer to book direct flight from europe. Maybe other people think different..

@jamiemonk @EmiratesSupport Why would the trip not be possible ? there are flights leaving Dubai all the time for Bangkok, stop being so dramatic !

@jamiemonk @EmiratesSupport Get a refund and re-book with Singapore or Thai, if possible. It’s not cheap but it’s guaranteed.

@TrulsBergNorge @Ajarncom All of the above. There was no war when we booked, I have flown with Emirates many times before, prefer 2 shorter flights.

@Ajarncom But why even use those midle-east stop-over airlines..? There are many airlines flying directly to BKK from europe.

For no particular reason we drove to Bradford this morning. Will go again on a sunny Saturday because on a grey Sunday it was mostly deserted although the city center itself is quite nice and we will return and visit the science & media museum.

For those with experience, what are @emirates like at giving out refunds? How long do you typically have to wait until you see money back in your account?
