@LaurenSatsuma Hi there, we're sorry to hear of this experience as we haven't changed anything on our side of things. It certainly does sound like it may have left the chill-chain at some point causing deterioration. If you can drop us a DM we can log this to site & investigate further. twitter.com/messages/compo…
@Lactofree@asda@Morrisons@asda if you're reading this, please stop whatever you have been doing to the lactofree cheese. I don't deserve horrible cheese just for being lactose intolerant.
I buy @Lactofree cheese, usually in my @asda weekly shop.
The last few months this cheese has been crumbly, sweaty, and unpleasant, every time I buy it.
Recently I bought the same cheese from @Morrisons as I needed a top up. The cheese was fine.
I think @asda are freezing it.
@ArlaDairyUK Good morning, Just opened a carton of Arla lactose free semi skimmed milk and its lumpy and smells bad. In date and stored in a fridge with the other bottles i have. Not very nice to see or smell first thing :( The batch number is 15:50 R and the date 21/1/26
@Rickontour@Lactofree Would that be the extremely IRRITATING carton with the new cap which involves an EXTRA MINUTE to remove it (with difficulty) to pour and then remove the superfluous plastic before screwing back on?
@usedtobecivil@Rickontour Hi there, we're sorry to hear of your frustration here. We've introduced tethered closures on our UK Lactofree milk cartons to help keep caps attached to the carton after opening, making them even easier to recycle and less likely to become litter & be lost once disposed of. >>>
This is annoying. Opened this new big pack of @ArlaFoodsUK today brought from @sainsburys a couple of weeks ago, still well within date. Its gone to yogurt already. Really crappie as the lactose free big packs are expensive. And who keeps receipts most times from self-service 😡
@SciFiColeCats Hi Cole, thanks for your feedback. We'll certainly make sure that it reaches our teams for consideration in the future with any expansion on our range.
@frankcantdrive@ArlaFoodsUK Hi Frank, thanks for getting in touch. We're glad to hear that you enjoy our range. Unfortunately there's no current plan for the return of the Block, however we'll pass your feedback onto our team. You can find home-made Ice Cream recipes on our website!

@RichardZeiss Hi Richard, we're sorry to hear of this difficulty. If you could drop us a DM we'd be happy to take some further details and pass the feedback onto the relevant teams for you.
@ArlaFoodsUK HOW shit are you going to make the caps on your lactose-free milk??? The previous ones were already crap, but the latest ones, you can't even close the carton anymore!! Are you TRYING to make me buy Sainsburys store brand instead? Because that's what I have been doing!
@NickyJaneScott Oh no! We're so sorry to hear this Nicky. Please can you send us a DM so that we can investigate further? No argument here as we'll take some details and our site will investigate further for you.
@Lactofree in Jan I had to throw 3 cartons of your long life lacto free milk out because it was rancid (bought that same week). This week I had to do the same again x 3. Rancid. I don’t expect anything from you, I have no will to argue, but you NEED to know this is a problem.
@TildaMc@Rickontour Hi there, we haven't changed anything in regards to this recently. May we ask if you are ensuring that your product is stored upright and not laid down?
@beealing <<< to avoid them making their way to the Republic of Ireland, where goods are subject to European Union standards. Please feel free to drop us a DM if you have any further questions.
@beealing Hi there, thanks for your question. There's no difference in the product, ingredients or recipe itself. The 'Not For EU' stamp on any packaging (not just LactoFREE) is for British businesses exporting to Northern Ireland who are required to label their products 'Not for EU' >>>
@Lactofree and @asda@AsdaServiceTeam I have just had to throw away 3 full cartons of Arla long life lacto free milk dated March 2024, bought at Asda before Christmas. All rancid. Was there a faulty batch? I don’t have the receipt, but at £2 per carton I’m very annoyed about it!
@LucyHaynes88 Hi Lucy, thanks for getting in touch. Unfortunately we no longer produce our LactoFREE Brie we're afraid. Apologies for any inconvenience caused!
@platotheteddy We're still producing our little LactoFREE Portion pyramids - You can find them available exclusively at Tesco! We hope you're able to get your hands on some.
@Emergency_Teds Haven’t seen the lactofree pyramids in years, assumed they’d stopped making them. They were so handy for when Human went to at someone else’s home! Can I very cheekily enquire as to your supplier Ernie? Obv if I lived In Bearington I’d be your customer but, alas, I do not 😔
@gideon_ Hi G, previous studies show that A2 was the predominant casein type. On average casein in UK milk was composed of 58% A2, 31% A1, 7% B and 3% C. Please feel free to drop us a DM if you have any further questions.
@Lactofree@ArlaDairyUK OMG I just opened a new carton of milk (dated 27th July) and it's FULL OF LUMPS. Breakfast ruined and I feel sick. This has never happened before...your products are usually so good!
