The first thing police do in a counter terrorism operation is attend to clear people out of the immediate area and locate the shooters - then they move in to disarm. Squatting is good, actually. This was all an effort to try normalise something that is incredibly important to so many people (except the parcel locker stuff, that was an accident) - but you really don’t care about them simply because you think you’re better than them. Everyone deserves empathy. The same laws that give you the right to own a property, give you an obligation to productively use that property. Land back. Land belongs to the workers, property is theft.

Ex NZ PM Jacinda Ardern recently spoke at Harvard University and revealed she had been wracked by self doubt for her whole five year term as leader. She said she was suffering from “imposter syndrome”. A mental condition where someone who is actually quite capable in their duties suffers from misplaced feelings of inadequacy. Many X users have corrected Ms Ardern on this delusion, pointing out her self doubt was not at all misplaced. She was quite right to see herself as out of her depth because she was. It wasn’t a syndrome. She really was inadequate to the task of being Prime Minister. Ms Ardern is a less than mediocre talent who has risen from the obscurity of a Morrinsville fish and chip shop to the world stage mainly by means of her skill in pretending to be something she is not. She has had an amazing run, but in the end the pressure of sustaining the scam became too much, and she resigned. Before she could be fully exposed as the incompetent narcissistic grifter she really is. Doubt this thesis? Well if Ms Ardern is truly the learned and moderately intelligent person she makes herself out to be, the English language should be one of her strong points. (especially with a degree in communications) However she was well known for mispronouncing “jeopardise” as “jepradise”, and while speaking at Harvard recently she mispronounced “something” as “somethink”. Horrible. You could detect a silent tremor of apprehension in the audience every time it happened. They were aghast and thinking- “We’ve just conferred an honourary place at out university on someone who says somethink instead of something?” I consciously cringed myself.
