Boyfriend wants to move in to pay off debt I'll try to make it short. Been together for 4 years and he's always financially struggling despite having $250k sitting in crypto that he won't touch until the next " bull run". We have great chemistry but I have way more than him financially. He's always crying about debt and not having enough money and wanting a change for his life but his only change that he has done is work extra hours at work while I'm doing multiple things to gain income not including my job. When I met him he was $25k in debt and now he's $50k in debt and says he wants me to move in with him to help pay down his debt. He says he wants to pay it all off in a year and when I ask him what's his game plan he says it's me moving in to save him money and me renting out my 3 homes on Airbnb. He has a son and most recently when I've gone over to his house it's messy and cluttered and he says it's because he is so busy working and he has no help. I have a son too but I have a feeling this is greatly going to benefit him as he'll have live in help to cook and clean while also paying his debt. He makes $5k more than me yearly and says that when I move in we'll live off one income and I'm like how when you're barely making yours on your own? I live very comfortable because I live below my means and before he realized he was in so much debt there were Amazon packages and purchases made just because they were on sale or it was something he absolutely had to have. I want to break up at this point because all I see for my future is helping him, struggle and no real benefit here for me in the long run. What do you guys think?

A Black guy once told me his funniest racism story from China, and honestly… I still think about it. He lived in China for a year and said the racism there was very blunt sometimes ignorant, sometimes openly hostile. One day he was on a train in Beijing when someone suddenly shoved an earbud into his ear from behind. He turned around pissed off… and it was a teenage girl grinning at him like she’d just met a celebrity. Then she said: “I like rap music.” He said he was too stunned to even react. And the funniest part? The song she played him was… Eminem. Not even a Black artist. Just full confidence, zero awareness. She ended up asking for selfies with him, he laughed, took the photos, and they went their separate ways. He said it was one of the only times racism made him laugh instead of angry.

The picture below is of the suspect in custody for allegedly shooting two Chicago police officers today. What I'm hearing... The suspect was arrested for armed robbery and complained of chest pains once in custody. He was transported directly to Swedish Hospital. Once at the hospital while getting a CAT scan he shot two cops on the hospital detail. There are conflicting accounts as to whether it was a bad search or the suspect was able to gain control of one of the officers' guns. The suspect fled the hospital and was apprehended about a block away hiding in a back yard. The gun and his hospital gown were recovered. Both officers were shot in the head and are in critical condition. Another episode of what life in Chicago looks like after civilization has been abandoned.

Y’all… I don’t even know how to say this without sounding crazy, but I’m breaking down over here 😞 I’m 20, an only child, and my mom still sleeps in my bed almost every night. For the past year I’ve been venting about it and nothing changes. We’re in a two-bedroom apartment, my dad snores like a damn chainsaw, so she “has no choice” but to crash with me. I’m a guy trying to grow up and I have zero privacy. The bathroom is literally the only place I can be alone. I get home from late classes exhausted, just wanting to chill in my own room, but she’s already tucked in by 9:30. Phone too bright? “Turn it off.” TV on? Big sigh and “We don’t live in the bed!” If I don’t follow her 7 a.m. work schedule I’m “disrespectful.” She demands stuff in MY room but never says a word to my dad. Then comes the guilt trip: “I pay the bills here,” “My back hurts,” “You don’t understand how tired I am.” I love her so much it hurts, but I feel so trapped and lonely in my own home. I’ve tried talking, boundaries, sleeping on the couch.... everything. She just gets emotional and climbs back in like it’s normal. I’m 20 and I can’t even have my own bed. I feel like I’m suffocating. I’m not trying to be ungrateful… I just want some space to breathe. Some privacy. Some peace. What do I do? I’m honestly losing it.
