It's fair to say a few eyebrows were raised about the post during last night's game.

"We're going through a difficult time at the moment, but we'll be fine... there might be some short term pain, but we're willing to endure that."

The AFL has conceded that the wrong call was made with relation to Tom Atkins’ last touch out of bounds free kick last night.
However, it has backed in the ARC - stating that it had no chance to intervene.
The league will now review its late-in-game process as a result.
Statement:
“The ball came back into play before the ARC had time to intervene on the last disposal free kick awarded to Geelong in the fourth quarter last night.
If the ARC did intervene, the decision would have been overturned.
The AFL will look at its late-in-game process and the ability to potentially hold play to get the correct outcome.”

Pendlebury gets his one match ban. Surely off to the tribunal to plead compelling circumstances and a likely fine after his incredible unblemished record
Jon Ralph@RalphyHeraldSun
Scott Pendlebury is facing a career-first suspension for a high hit on Worrell. But the plot twist? The AFL’s good bloke rule is still alive. Can he plead exceptional circumstances for a discount at the tribunal? The details 👇 codesports.com.au/afl/afl-champi…

A mum's hug is everything.
Just like Mumtaz here, every mother wants their kids to be safe, to be happy and to belong.
That was the message I heard at our Iftar dinner - and right across our state.
And it’s what I’ll keep fighting for every day, for every mum, for every Muslim - for every Victorian.

Happy International Women's Day! 💜
This year's theme is 'Balance the Scales' - making sure that every girl and woman gets a fair go, and is safe, heard and free to shape her own future.
As a dad to two beautiful daughters, this is especially important to me and my family.
We must do all we can to support women and girls in our workplaces, community groups, sporting clubs. We must challenge and remove the barriers women face and the gendered norms and attitudes that impact them each and everyday.
As Victoria’s Parliamentary Secretary for Men’s Behaviour Change, we are striving for a society where men and boys are upstanders to damaging gender stereotypes, calling out poor behaviours and stopping gendered violence - because it starts with us men and boys!
It's been a great week celebrating International Women's Day in Parliament alongside our majority-women government and with colleagues from all sides of Parliament.
A big shoutout to Mary-Anne Thomas MP our Minister for Women, and Premier @JacintaAllanMP for your incredible work across government in making the lives of Victorian women and children fairer each and every day.

Senator Hanson can distract with culture wars and call me a bitch as much as she wants - her record tells the real story of what she's about.
She claims to stand up for working people, but today we've found out she billed taxpayers thousands of dollars for flights and chauffeurs to attend One Nation fundraisers.
She has previously failed to declare gifts from billionaire Gina Rinehart, failed to properly disclose business interests and shareholdings, and her daughter has been installed into a plum $180k taxpayer-funded role in a One Nation office.
Over recent years, One Nation has been forced to repay over $200k in wrongly claimed election spending. It's not clear how much personal wealth Hanson has, but she recently loaned $245k to her own party and refuses to say where the money came from.
Pauline Hanson is not challenging the elites, she’s one of them. She’s using her position to protect her own interests and back her billionaire mates.
While she distracts with division, the battlers and people she says she stands for are being left behind.

Women with a voice in positions of power, authority or influence are too often labelled as ‘difficult’ in Australia, even today.
The list is long and distinguished of immensely capable Australian women publicly and relentlessly attacked.
Including in sport.
The Matildas, for example, were not handed their platform for success. They were ‘difficult’ when they argued for their rights, for basic conditions, for equality, for a voice in decision making, when they went on strike in 2015. As were all other champion women in sport.
And look at them now..
Many of us are raising young women to use their voice, to not back down, to expect equal treatment, equal access and opportunity, to be judged on their competence not gender.
What we do not expect, then, is for the PM to use the same, loaded language that puts down, diminishes, disregards.
Here’s to many, many more ‘difficult’ women in Australian public, political, corporate and community life.
And to all Australian men with amazing wives, partners, daughters, colleagues and friends unafraid to use their voice, and unapologetic in their demands to speak, and be heard 🤝
