@LevelBogeyGolf @garrett_TFE Great point. Using that logic, we should shorten baseball fields too and start playing wiffle ball because watching people hit home runs is boring. Scores will be the same and a non-issue. Just beat your opponent.

Look at the winning scores in the Masters since 2021. Augusta National clearly knows what it wants setup-wise, like it or not. (And the list of winners is obviously unimpeachable.)

@JMiller2511 @garrett_TFE what did they do before courses were lengthened? They teed off from further up. They can just do that again if no one can break par. Ball roll back will be a non issue in terms of scoring. Also it doesn't matter, you just need to beat your opponents score
