It's a gamble at this point. If RDTS fails, Bitcoin is over. If it succeeds, the sky's the limit. Keep in mind if Bitcoin fails, the whole economy is in for some REALLY bad times ahead. You also have to ask him what he's considering besides Bitcoin... fiat is doomed no matter what. There is no "safe savings" right now. Bitcoin is our last good chance. This is not financial advice.

Nonsense. Respectfully, this is clearly not a domain you have looked into deeply. Firstly you are conflating energy use with environmental harm, which is a rookie error. Secondly and more importantly, Bitcoin mining, unlike AI datacenters is a flexible load. This means they are able to use stranded renewable energy which accelerates the green energy transition, while also stabilizing the grid - obviating the need for gas peaker plants There are 9 peer reviewed papers showing that Bitcoin mining has a net positive impact on grids and renewable energy transition, a total of 24 papers showing clear environmental benefits. A reminder: Citrea don't need the blockchain - they need your mempool which is why spam filters had to be ridiculed and ripped out of Core for Citrea to be able to confidently build and launch their product. Kill it today by refusing to host their stuff in your mempool.

It's pretty rich that the guy who isn't able to confirm or deny visiting Epstein's Island is warning people about reputational dangers, while smearing a thoroughly researched and meticulously sourced article and its author.
