I am not against 343 Industries' giving Master Chief character depth, flaws, and growth. I like it when there are different interpretations of storied characters.

Dude has a Tibetan Mastiff which is literally used by other cultures to ward off lions and can't even give the dog the amount of space and exercise it needs on a day-to-day basis to stay healthy.
The only thing it's spoiled in is thunder shocks, lack of liquids, and an honest carrying owner.
