@stackerco How are we to have a discussion when you are this hostile because of a question?
English

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is not a works-base salvation Church.
As the new Testament Church of Jesus Christ, we follow their Commandments given by Christ to be baptized in order to be saved, as given in Mark 16:16. Since Christ requires ordinances, be performed in order to be saved in the Church of Jesus Christ, we are not a works based church. We are in a revelation-based Church that follows the ordinance of God as He reveals them through living prophets and apostles, according to the Bible.
English

Utah leads the nation in antidepressant use and plastic surgery, and according to some studies, pornography.
Under the surface of a works-based religious system that demands outward perfection is a world of quiet misery and secret depravity.
Just like every other legalistic false religion, the only possible outcomes are pride or despair, and the only solution is the gospel of Jesus Christ.

@salmon13528 @darwintojesus @CraigOnan His point is that acting in accordance with your nature does not make an action right.
English

@LukeHolste @darwintojesus @CraigOnan No he’s not understanding the point, homosexuality isn’t violent. Are you that unaware?

By this logic:
-Tribal warfare
-Cannibalism
-Infanticide
-Parasitism
-Predation
-Rape
Are all totally natural.

@tawus300 @RealRayza @Haqiqatjou @GodLogic_GL You are free to reread your reply above. You still haven’t provided where your fallacious information is being derived from.

Dawah is comedy.
1. A book having no mistakes doesn't mean it's from God.
2. The Quran contradicts itself by claiming it's fully explained and not fully explained at the same time (12:111 / 3:7).
3. The Quran blunders on history by saying Christ wasn't crucified (S. 4:157).
vermerlleey@bmjvermerlleey
Quran is the only book without any mistakes.
English

@tawus300 @RealRayza @Haqiqatjou @GodLogic_GL No, you said the attentions of Tacitus are fabricated. Again, No one throws out 15:44 as fabricated from Annals. I’d love to know where you’re getting this from. The earliest source (11th century manuscript) contains the passage regarding Christ’s execution under pilot.
English

@LukeHolste @RealRayza @Haqiqatjou @GodLogic_GL Nobody said the entire Annals is a fabrication you dunce. I said this specific attestation
English

@tawus300 @RealRayza @Haqiqatjou @GodLogic_GL No, the majority of historians believe Annals to be an authentic work by Tacitus. It’s not an independent eyewitness account if that’s what you’re trying to get at.
English

@LukeHolste @RealRayza @Haqiqatjou @GodLogic_GL It’s well known in academia that the Testimonium Flavinium and the attention of Tacitus are fabrications
English

@tawus300 @RealRayza @Haqiqatjou @GodLogic_GL Ah yes, all primary non Christian sources we have confirming his execution under Roman rule are fabrications.
English

@RealRayza @Haqiqatjou @GodLogic_GL We’re asking what is the ultimate punishment according to Tacitus and there’s various accounts of how Jesus died that contradict.
Tacitus’s report itself is also known to be a fabrication alongside Josephus

@xevekiah He should take her in the MEN'S room WITH HIM. Not the women's room. That's what dads do.
This really isn't rocket science.

I was in an airport restroom when a man knocked and said, “Dad with a 4 year old coming in!” He sounded mortified. He kept his back to everyone, stared at the ceiling like it personally offended him, and speed-walked his daughter into a stall.
A woman whispered, “Unbelievable.”
What’s unbelievable is expecting a preschooler to brave the men’s restroom alone in a crowded airport. He did the respectful thing: he warned us, kept it brief, and focused on his child.
Sometimes the safest choice isn’t the most traditional one.

@TeamTalaricoHQ @jamestalarico Is this the dude that said the bible condones abortion?
English

.@JamesTalarico to Joe Rogan: My principal told me I was going to teach this kid named Justin, who had brought a knife to school. I told him I wanted to get to know him. We started to build a rapport. Right before winter break, he brought me this gift — a snowflake that he had bought at the Dollar Tree for his teacher.
I came back after winter break and heard this commotion. There were two of our coaches restraining Justin. That was the last time I ever saw him. Justin had been seeing a therapist provided by the school district, but because of budget cuts, the district had eliminated the therapist.
Adults he was trying to trust were abandoning him. That was the radicalizing experience for me. People at the state capitol had cut $5 billion from our schools. I promised myself that if I ever got power I would do everything I could to stop that. Justin and my students are the criteria I use to evaluate public policy.

John 10:30
English

@catholiccom Dan isn’t denying Jesus is divine
He isn’t denying John says Jesus is divine
He’s only denying that John says Jesus and God the father are the same being
English

DAN, A SCHOLAR IN 2026: John repeatedly denies Jesus is God
POLYCARP, A STUDENT OF JOHN THE APOSTLE: Yeah one day John saw a famous heretic who denied Christ's divinity and then ran out of the building screaming that it would fall down because "the enemy of truth" was inside
Dan McClellan@maklelan
@formavorscht That's not remotely the overall thesis of the Gospel of John. The author repeatedly denies Jesus is God.

@Azulay_the_gay @briebriejoy Let me guess, you and you partner adopted a son?
English

Hi antisemite @briebriejoy
I’m a gay man living in Israel with my partner. We are legally married, we have a child, and we are both the legal parents of that child. Our gay friends can legally adopt children in Israel. We have pride parades here, and I’m also a proud teacher in the Israeli education system.
Meanwhile, the people you support hang LGBTQ+ individuals and throw them off rooftops — but that’s fine, right? They’re Arabs, so they’re allowed to.

Why are 1 in 2 Americans going to develop cancer before they die?
Richard Hanania@RichardHanania
She says "One in two Americans are expected to have cancer in their lifetime now, one in two." Yeah, because we diagnose more and live longer. "One in 36 children has autism now." This autism epidemic is a fraud, demonstrated here. cremieux.xyz/p/whats-the-de…
