You have to lower prices and get lower margins. Pricing adjustments and currency exchange shifts, reducing your competitiveness.

I don't see the point in Europe bending over backwards to "keep the US in NATO" when there's exactly a 0% chance that Trump comes to Europe's aid, ever. I would prefer building an independent foreign policy now instead of clinging to something which is functionally is dead.

I'm American, but one that especially annoys me is the one about the French surrendering all the time. France has a long and glorious military history. This all got forgotten because of WW2, and frankly, that doesn't count, not only because an overmatched France fought bravely for almost six weeks, but also because no one on continental Europe was a match for the Nazi war machine. Yes, that includes the Brits, who ran away with their tails between their legs at Dunkirk, then tried to rewrite abandoning their allies into a tale of heroism. Yes, it also includes the Soviets, who got their teeth kicked in until they were relieved, first by General January and General February, and then by a ginormous influx of American arms and vehicles.
