@ggreenwald I don’t agree. We are what, 14 months into the presidency? You expect miracles. Come back to me after 4 years and ask again. What I do know is the pieces on the table are being moved around quickly and with purpose. We are only just starting the second quarter of a long game.

Think about what Washington Republicans are actually asking you to believe: that there are noncitizens so committed to voting illegally that they’d risk deportation, prosecution, and everything we’ve seen ICE do, just to cast a ballot in our elections.      There is no documented crisis of noncitizens voting. It is already a federal crime, and it always has been.       Republicans invented a crisis that doesn’t exist so they could sell a “solution” that makes it harder for YOU to vote.      Call it what it is: the SAVE REPUBLICANS Act.

Jordan Peterson hits hard with something we all feel but rarely say out loud: Even the best of us are starting to see enemies in our neighbors and friends. Even the best of us are slipping into cowardice and self-righteous anger. Even the best of us are degenerating into pointless blows. He doesn’t point fingers outward. He turns it inward: “It needs to stop. I need to stop. You need to stop — before it’s too late.” The real enemy, he says, isn’t the person across the table. It’s the snake in your own heart. The lies on your tongue. The arrogance of your intellect. The cowardice that refuses to reach across the divide. The enemy is whatever divides us and sows discord. It’s a sobering reminder that the battle isn’t just out there — it starts inside. When was the last time you caught yourself turning a fellow human into “the enemy”… and what did it cost you?

@thycelticcross @TKratman Saying Reproductive rights is a joke on the actual words. Everyone on the planet has the “right”’to reproduce. Americans believe it is sinful and wrong to kill unborn babies. You want to sin and fulfill your selfish desires and not want the responsibility of the repercussions.

Depends which country you live in. My country has full reproductive rights for women, America doesn't, that's just one example. Now, ask why 40% of American women want to leave America...permanently. Their # 1 preferred country to move to is Canada...hmm...I wonder why? 🤔 Shall I move onto many more examples?

From Martin Iles, reposted: Having lived in the USA for nearly two years, I've realised something. The USA and the remainder of the Western world are no longer aligned. We all laugh and mock when the Americans say, "Freedom!" because we truly think we're as free as they are. Wrong. We're not. Not even close. The laws, the mindset, and the behaviour, is totally different in this regard. Most of all, the governments are totally different. The USA's convictions around core freedoms are on a scale we do not share. Meanwhile, Donald Trump wins the popular vote, the electoral college, the House, and the Senate... a man who, in every other Western country, is held in open derision, if not contempt. For these and other reasons, we are not the same. Yet the West, including Australia, fully expect to rely on the USA for our very survival. If the world turns bad (which will happen - only a question of time), then the whole West, without America, is toast. So, you may ask - if we're not very aligned ideologically, then it must be that we bring something to the party militarily? Well, no... actually... we don't matter that much militarily. The USA has about 470 ships in its navy, including 11 aircraft carriers, 69 submarines, 75 destroyers... plus 110 new ships in the pipeline. Australia has about 30, including 3 destroyers, 7 frigates and 7 outdated submarines. The UK does a little better, with about 60. Meanwhile, the US has over 14,000 military aircraft. A staggering number. Australia has 252 military aircraft. The UK has 556. The US army has just shy of 1,000,000 uniformed personnel in its military. Australia has about 45,000. The USA spends 3.4% ($968 billion) of its GDP on defence. Australia spends 2% ($36.4 billion). The US spends as much as the next 15 largest military-spending countries (including China) combined. The USA has a fighting culture. The men shoot things (a lot) and hunt things, the veterans get favoured in everything from parking spots to boarding planes. A uniformed young man is thanked in the street a dozen times a day. "Oh, the Americans and their guns!" we say, in our smug way. Yes, they have a warrior culture. We do not. We don't have to, because we're a leech on theirs. How many young British men are willing to fight for their country? Now ask the same regarding young American men. The difference is about as wide as it could be. Militarily, we don't offer squat. Meanwhile, look at the way Australia works against America's interests by loving on China. China made us rich and we stay close. This is a Marxist regime with expansionist aims. Again, you have to spend time in the USA to realise just how vast a gulf there is between us on China. Europe, too. They let China have their way everywhere from Germany to Greenland, all the while importing Islam and sending their own people to court for saying hurty words. Somehow, we have landed the deal of a lifetime with the USA that says, "when the baddies come, you'll save us ok?" Because we can't save ourselves. And we live in peace. But we keep gnawing away at freedoms, keep enabling China, and get flabby and disinterested about our military because Uncle Sam's got it. And, let's be honest, Americans are widely looked down on. To add insult to injury, we don't think that highly of our protectors. So, the USA is finally saying "enough." I am here, I can tell you what the vibe is, and that's it. Trump is doing what people want in this regard. They're over it. And we come across all shocked and hard done by. We behave like people with no self-insight at all. Yes, the global alliance system is all over the place now. From America's perspective, it's about time. And I must say, though I be a proud Australian, I am forced to agree. Something has to change.

Americans don’t want ICE in our airports or in our communities. We just want Republicans to agree to fund TSA so workers can be paid and these lines can go down.   Trump is trying to intimidate us. It’s time Republicans agree to fund TSA instead of voting it down every time.

Hello Politico, You’ve published 1,500+ words about Senator Mike Lee and the SAVE America Act. Your headline conditioned the reader what to think before the first paragraph: "This is about attention." Your sourcing: five anonymous Republican senators, and a section titled "Leadership ambitions?" whose only function is to ensure the reader leaves believing Lee is just putting on a performance. The SAVE America Act requires proof of citizenship to register to vote. It passed the House 218-213. The President called it his "#1 priority." Harvard CAPS/Harris found in February 2026 that 75% of Americans support it. Your article does not contain the phrase "proof of citizenship." It does not mention any polling. It barely has any policy analysis. You have to remove the substance for the false personality smears to land. Now let’s examine the real reason you wrote this hit job. In January 2021, three of your staff left and founded Punchbowl News. They took your model with them. Then Jake Sherman said something you never have: on a podcast, he described Punchbowl's revenue as "nearly 90%" from corporate sponsorships." The documented sponsors include PhRMA, ExxonMobil, JPMorgan, Meta, and the American Investment Council. Turns out, you have the exact same sponsors. PhRMA pays for Politico Focus branded content. JPMorgan Chase is a Politico Focus client. The American Investment Council is a Politico Focus client. Meta sponsors your shows. You have Politico Pro, which charges K Street $10,000 to $30,000 a year for legislative intelligence — and accounted for approximately half your revenue as of 2015, with a 93% renewal rate. Your subscriber base is the lobbying community. They are also your subject matter. The same corporations fund both outlets. The same K Street audience reads both outlets. And both outlets produce the same framing: leadership is realistic, insurgent senators are attention-seekers, the SAVE Act has "almost no chance." Punchbowl's Andrew Desiderio wrote that. Your Jordain Carney wrote that Lee "doesn't have a realistic path." Two outlets, same sponsors, same audience, same conclusion. Your own article admits, buried below 1,500 words of anonymous attacks: Lee's pressure produced an open-ended floor debate "next to unheard-of in the modern Senate" and moved Chuck Schumer to concede ground on voter ID. You framed both as asides. An anonymous senator told you Lee's motivation is "the clicks." Lee does midnight livestreams explaining his position to anyone who wants to listen. Your anonymous senators called Politico. Your alumni left, built the same thing, and told the world what it was. You never had to. The article does it for you. Like @PunchbowlNews, you are a K Street sham, Politico. You should have all your Capitol press credentials revoked, because your entire existence is one giant violation of undisclosed lobbying restrictions.

In launching a war with Iran, President Trump somehow failed to prepare for a huge spike in gas prices at home. Now, after lifting sanctions on Russia, he’s lifting sanctions on Iran. This allows the U.S. to purchase Iranian oil for the first time since the 1990s. The President is giving billions of dollars and a financial lifeline to the same people who are shooting at and killing U.S. forces.

Hi @GenFlynn, Why are you promoting the CCP? How can you say CCP propaganda is insightful? You are literally promoting the CCP while you call yourself a US General. Tucker Carlson’s @TuckerCarlson latest podcast guest is a CCP supporter larping as a professor to sow dissent online for the purpose of attacking President Trump and destroying the MAGA movement for China. I have discovered that “Professor” @xueqinjiang’s writings are published in official publications of the Chinese Communist Party. He is also the Deputy Principal of a Communist high school in Beijing, China. As you can see below, Jiang Xueqin’s articles are published in China Youth Daily. China Youth Daily is a state-controlled newspaper in China and the official daily voice of the Communist Youth League of China (CYLC). Established in 1951, it acts as a primary media outlet targeting young professionals, promoting Communist Party of China (CCP) ideology while covering news on education, economics, and society.  The Communist Youth League of China (CYLC) also known as the Young Communist League of China or the Communist Youth League, is an organization of the People's Republic of China for youth between the ages of 14 and 28, run by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Additionally, Jiang Xueqin is listed as the Deputy Principal at Tsinghua University High School, which forces compliance with Xi JinPing’s communist teachings and openly promotes the CCP and CCP membership on their website. See screenshots below 👇🏻 This is what you’re calling “powerful and insightful”? Are you serious? Why are you continuing to amplify anti-Trump, CCP propaganda on a daily basis? Not to mention, you are a senior Advisor to Catholics for Catholics which just hosted a gala of anti-Trump conspiracy theorists and advocates of Islamic jihad. You claim to be anti-Islam, but Catholics for Catholics just hosted a bunch of pro-Hamas influencers and Islamic apologists. Why are you promoting America’s enemies? Don’t get me started on your belligerent son either who runs around badmouthing Trump and spewing anti-Semitic drivel all day long. You go out of your way to protect him no matter how depraved his comments are. You wonder why Trump keeps you at a distance. This is why. Your support of this anti-American activity and subversion is indefensible. I have watched you from a distance for a while now and this crosses a line. You need to really think about what you represent. It certainly is no longer America. RECEIPTS 👇🏻

I am one of the few members of Congress who has actually passed a voter ID law (on a bipartisan basis), which I did as Speaker of the House in North Carolina, and that’s why I proudly co-sponsored the SAVE Act. While I support strengthening mail-in ballot integrity, many states like Utah, Florida, Alaska, and Montana rely on the use of mail-in ballots to conduct their elections, and we should not be completely upending how states already securely conduct their elections. Even if this issue is fixed, the SAVE America Act still will not have the 60 votes required to pass it. While the so-called ‘talking filibuster’ has been floated as an option, there is a reason why previous attempts to utilize it in recent history have failed. A ‘talking filibuster’ would effectively make Chuck Schumer the new Senate Majority Leader, allowing Democrats to block every single Trump judge and executive branch nominee, and allow them to force endless votes on anything they want. Democrats would control the floor of the U.S. Senate until the end of the year. There are only two ways out of a ‘talking filibuster.’ The first is for Democrats to miraculously give up and allow Republicans to pass the bill with a simple majority. That is never going to happen, and anyone who claims it’s even a remote possibility is either completely misinformed or intentionally misleading the American people. The second way is for Republicans to substantially weaken or eliminate the filibuster altogether. I have made it crystal clear that I will never vote to do this. Eliminating the filibuster is a foolish and lazy idea pushed by politicians seeking short-term gain at the expense of causing irreparable long-term harm to our nation. Succeeding in eliminating the filibuster would significantly weaken the minority party, end the need for bipartisan compromise, and allow erratic swings in policy that would transform America for the worse. Those are just the consequences of a best-case outcome. During the last Congress, all of my Democratic colleagues currently serving supported nuking the filibuster to try to pass their own partisan election reform bill. Democrats were dead wrong to try to change the filibuster when they controlled the Senate, and Republicans would be dead wrong to try to change the filibuster now that we control the Senate. The only real path to address the American people’s declining confidence in our elections is for both parties to find common ground on legislation that supports universal adoption of voter ID, proof of citizenship, and other vital election integrity measures.

Reminders: — A free press is a constitutionally protected right — Free speech is a constitutionally protected right — Seeking redress for grievances is a constitutionally protected right — Freedom of association is a constitutionally protected right — Opposing war is a constitutionally protected right Tucker Carlson is in the mainstream of American opinion for opposing the current war in Iran. These claims he’s committed treason & should be shot are crazy. Treason means taking hostile action against the American people. What I can only presume Tucker was doing with the Iranians is the same thing he did in Russia a couple of years ago: Trying to help Americans understand the perspective of the people our central govt intends to hit with military strikes against. And incidentally you can’t claim Iran is our “enemy” when there’s been no formal declaration of war, as is legally required outside of urgent national security crisis. Ultimately we need more voices of reason, restraint, & prudence. Not fewer. And I can’t help but add: If you’re spending your Sunday morning posting angry messages demanding an American journalist’s head, maybe consider the possibility you’ve gotten a little too emotionally invested in a narrative.
