This is a profoundly proud and joyful moment for me, for @trina1982t2 , and for every single person who persistently fought for this case and secured the truly well-deserved outcome we have today. The UK government must now act urgently and without any further delay to evacuate these people. They have already waited for years.

Pakistan has nuclear weapons and is seeking to achieve an ICBM capability that would bring the US within range. Osama bin Laden was also found hanging out in Abbotabad. What am I missing here?

No. No. No. Hundreds killed in a Pakistani airstrike on a Kabul hospital. First the BBC downplayed it - now @BBCNews removed it from the front page entirely. If Israel were involved, it would lead for days but no - the BBC must not talk badly about Pakistan. Why is that?

The reported killings at a rehab facility in Kabul following Pakistani bombing are deeply condemnable & criminal. Our prayers are with the victims’ families. The “war on terror” cannot mask such brutality. Those defending it should remember: karma hits back hard. #AfghanGenocide

I’ve been inside this facility in Kabul. It’s a vast drug rehabilitation centre where thousands battling addiction are brought for treatment — part of a desperate effort to confront one of the country’s worst social crises. Tonight it’s burning. bbc.co.uk/news/world-asi…

What happened constitutes a war crime and violation of international law, involving the targeting of innocent people and civilian infrastructure. Pakistan initiated this course of action, and I do not believe the Pakistani state can bear the consequences once similar destruction begins to reach its own cities. Many Afghans may be prepared to endure a heavy price, particularly if there is a clear and direct response to these actions. Although, so far, it appears to be nothing more than a staged drama designed to deceive their own people into backing the two ruling powers the Pakistani army and the Taliban. However, it has the potential to develop into a serious and prolonged conflict between the Pakistani army and the Taliban with consequence far beyond the immediate battlefield. Providing the Afghan side the anti-aircraft missiles will do the job. The result would be an outcome that serves the wider interests of all.

An upsurge in hostilities between #Afghanistan and #Pakistan has resulted in at least 6 health facilities reportedly being impacted in Afghanistan since late February. In addition, a reported overnight strike on the Omid Drug Rehabilitation Facility in Kabul, managed by the Ministry of Interior, killed more than 400 people, and injured at least 250, who were being treated for substance use disorders. @WHO is working to verify these incidents. But the intensifying conflict is placing additional strain on health systems and increasing risks to the health and well-being of vulnerable populations. I urge all parties to de-escalate and prioritize peace and health. Peace is the best medicine.

Massacre of patients in a rehabilitation facility in Kabul by Pakistani bombing is condemnable. Our thoughts & prayers are with the families of the victims. Bombing hospitals is criminal everywhere, in Gaza, Tehran or Kabul. The "war on terror" is a camouflage for genocide.

This was a rehabilitation hospital for drug addicts — a place where broken people came seeking treatment, hope, and a chance to rebuild their lives. Instead, it was turned into a graveyard after being bombarded by Pakistan Air Force on the orders of General Asim Munir. Most of the helpless patients inside were killed. Just last year, renowned Afghan cricketer Gulbadin Naib visited this very place to encourage these men who were fighting to reclaim their lives. They came here hoping for healing and a second chance. Instead, their dreams were buried under rubble by the decision of a mentally ill man whose cruelty has now silenced them forever.

I am very sad to read on TOLO News that some 400 Afghan civilians have been killed and hundreds injured. My condolences and sympathy for the affected families. The massacre of Afghan civilians is the result of barbaric Pakistani air attacks on Kabul. The Afghan people are understandably outraged and the Afghan government is withdrawing its offer of negotiations. No doubt, it is also weighing its options for a response and probably also an escalation. I call on the international community to condemn this vicious attack and provide humanitarian assistance to the victims. I wish wisdom to the Taliban as they review their policies and make adjustments in light of the relentless attacks committed by the Pakistani establishment. I can only hope that most decent Pakistanis are disappointed and even angry about the inhumane and reckless decision of their military leadership to kill and maim Afghan civilians in their name. Unfortunately, as developments in Pakistan demonstrate, the military leadership and its puppet government, do not care about their views.  To my Pakistani readers: Am I right? #Afghanistan #Pakistan #India @TOLOnews #Uzbekistan #Kazakhstan #Tajikistan #Iran #Qatar #Saudi_arabia #UAE #USA @UN @EU @CNNnews18 #UnitedKingdom #Germany #France #Russia #China #Indonesia x.com/i/status/20336…

Pakistani Generals Are Targeting Afghan Refugees The Pakistani military targets Afghan civilians in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Reports indicate that Pakistani security agencies are offering rewards to citizens who report the presence of Afghan nationals via designated phone numbers (see photo below). Afghan civilians are paying the price for the Pakistani military’s political agenda in Afghanistan. This clear core human rights violation is part of a broader process of collective punishment, including mass deportations, property seizures, and arbitrary arrests of Afghan refugees, with or without valid documents. Afghan men, women, and children face arbitrary detention, night raids, and harassment by corrupt Pakistani police, who exploit vulnerable Afghans for financial gain. Pakistan’s military establishment censors and controls Pakistani media, which fail to report such inhumane acts by state authorities. #EU, #UK, #Germany, #France, and other countries with a direct moral and legal responsibility, along with @UNHCR, @Amnesty, @UNHumanRights, @EU_Commission, and other human rights organizations must move beyond statements and take practical steps to protect the vulnerable. #AfghanRefugees #Afghanistan #Pakistan #OIC #China #Russia #India #Iran @StateDept @AuswaertigesAmt @CanadaFP @EU_Commission @Europarl_EN @coe @amnesty @GermanyDiplo @UN_STFA @SenateGOP @SenateDems @DeputySecState @HRW @amnestysasia @eucopresident @NorwayMFA @wallacemick @GermanyUNGeneva @SR_Afghanistan @UNAMANews @ggagnonn @UNAfghanistan @AminaJMohammed @UNOSAPG @IndrikaRatwatte @UN_Women @DavidianAli @MelissaFleming @DicarloRosemary @UN_HRC @UNICEFAfg @IntCrimDatabase @IntlCrimCourt

Afghan refugees have lived in Pakistan for decades, many fleeing war, occupation, and instability, conditions shaped in large part by global and regional powers (pak itself). Instead of acknowledging this shared history and responsibility, the state is now promoting a culture of suspicion and surveillance against those who have already endured immense displacement and loss.

An Afghan father — reportedly one of America’s brave Afghan Allies — went to drop his kids off at school on Friday in Texas. When he got back home, ICE was there and took him into custody. He has died. His family is shattered. His community is devastated. This is a disgrace.

#BREAKING: An Afghan man named Nazeer just died in ICE custody in Texas. There are a lot more questions than answers at this time and there will be more information soon, but we first want to express our sincere condolences to his family.

It was the Pakistani establishment that provided sanctuary and support for groups fighting the US forces, the Afghan Republic forces and Afghan civilians. Now the Pakistan establishment is killing the Taliban forces and Afghan civilians. The Pakistani establishment was wrong then. It is wrong now.
