@HW_Geopolitics @RealPepeEscobar The IRGC fired on their USN escort, which did not traverse the strait. It's literally what the previous poster was saying, the US is gonna provoke until Iran hits a ship for real.

GULF OF TONKIN REMIXED The Empire of Piracy always reverses to old tricks. "Project Freedom" has nothing "humanitarian" about it. Devious terminology lays out a trap. There's NO way the US Navy will get anything closer to the Strait of Hormuz. This is a Gulf of Tonkin set up. Dept. of Forever Wars creating the perfect pretext to restart the war.

@r930596 @Hopeful_average @PetreRaleigh The argument isn't that there's no infrastructure surrounding the product it's that the owners don't provide any of it. A paving company paves the parking lot. A manager hires them and a bank finances it. All to bring the players to market. What does the owner contribute.

@MJS579 @Hopeful_average @PetreRaleigh Idk he said the players create the value, but now for the player to create the parking lot he needs to behave like an owner and hire a company to come create value for him? That's literally the same thing as an owner LMAO

@r930596 @Hopeful_average @PetreRaleigh In a hypothetical where players were allowed to have their own league I presume they would pay managers and executives who would hire the paving company yes. In reality I'm not sure why you'd expect the players to do so.

Holy shit, how do you think the players create all the value you idiot? Imagine they played in a room with no camera cameras. How much value have they created that imagine no concessions no parking just those guys on a court in the middle of nowhere. You’re such a fucking retard to not understand that all the value is created by everyone around them and they are just the product.

@willia_tyler24 @PetreRaleigh Players could obviously hire people to negotiate those deals like the owners do, or do so themselves. The owners are not creating value by negotiating licensing deals. Though it's fun imagining getting your buddies together for beers to go through licensing contracts.

@PetreRaleigh All of the value? There no value in negotiating the licensing deals? No value in the infrastructure of the stadiums and vendors? No value in the merchandise production and distribution? No value in branding or marketing? No value in the anything but the actual game play? Really?

@The_PK_Guy @NathanJRobinson @jonathanchait I have never identified as a rightist. They literally just won the popular vote, you don't have to be hyperbolic to say they're half the population. Finally, pieces of shit tend are irrideemably pieces of shit. If you're going to talk about people that way be aware of what is is.

@hasanthehun @DropSiteNews @davidsirota Looking forward to the moment Tucker says, nothing against immigrants as people but it's clearly a plot by our owners to flood the market with cheap labour and continue to immiserate you and planter will have to choose between agreeing on economic populism and virtue signalling.

⭕️ Graham Platner, the progressive Maine Democrat running for Senate, says he doesn’t yet have an answer on whether he will appear on Tucker Carlson’s show after Carlson expressed interest in a meeting in an interview with the New York Times. “It’s hard to tell if [his shift] is real or if it’s a performance,” Platner told journalist David Sirota, but acknowledged areas of real alignment, especially foreign policy and the war on Iran. “Are we exposing new people to Tucker Carlson, or are we exposing people that listen to Tucker Carlson to us — that’s the math equation,” Platner deliberated out loud. Platner added: “He came out and said he was against the war on Iran on moral grounds. That’s a stronger statement on the war than a lot of sitting Democrats. And I of course am also opposed to the war on Iran on moral grounds.”
David Sirota@davidsirota

I just spoke with @GrahamForMaine about Tucker Carlson telling the NY Times' @LuluGNavarro he wants to meet Platner. I asked Platner if he'd appear on Tucker's show - and how he thinks about engaging with conservative media. Full interview will be on The Lever's YouTube page.

@WhiteSchooling @jakeshieldsajj USSR was such a vassal that it did 90% of the work of beating Nazi Germany, outstripped the capitalist world in development into the 60s, and the west bankrupted itself making sure the project failed.

@jakeshieldsajj US couldn't possibly betray the Asian anti-Russian peado "Stalin" as he was their vassal, esp. after being saved by US in 1941. In fact, the USSR was ruled by ✡️Kaganovic, who was the vassal of Judeo-Anglo-America. No such thing as "cold war," it's either hot or no war at all.

@The_PK_Guy @NathanJRobinson @jonathanchait That's what the guy is saying and Nathan is misinterpreting it. Also speaking about the right as some monolith, the entire movement, half of your society, like they're all literal irredeemable racists and fascists is silly and unproductive.

@NathanJRobinson @jonathanchait That's not the point he's making. The right acknowledges this horrific, racist past. They just leave it in the past and think we should focus on it less today and spend more resources on making life better for everyone in the present.

@jonathanchait Are you saying the country was not in fact founded by white supremacists? How many Black and Native people did they let into the constitutional convention? It's not enough to say "the right wing also believes this," you also have to prove that it's not true.

@MintPressNews Unfortunately there's essentially no way for Iran to drop glide bombs reliably - as silly as the US's claims of air supremacy are, they likely do have or are capable of achieving significant air superiority; Iran will be limited to brief and rare sorties if anything at all.

🚨Iran Has Got Its Hand On New American Glide Bombs That It Will Reverse Engineer The IRGC published an image of the AGM-154 JSOW model in Pishva, Tehran. The bomb weighs about 450–500 kg, and it operates on a GPS guidance system. Tehran has already announced it is working on reverse engineering a series of US munitions that were fired & didn’t explode, or were shot down.

@annanimiddy @jkenney @RoyalCanNavy Hm should our government maintain good relations with the world's industrial and export superpower or an insignificant island economy that will one day be reabsorbed by that superpower? It's a real thinker.

@jkenney @RoyalCanNavy Our PM already told his friends in the CCP where his government stands. "In a dangerous and divided world, Canada is taking a principled and pragmatic approach to its foreign policy." If he says it enough times, we'll all believe it, won't we?

@NathanJRobinson First of all. He was certainly the best of us. Second, it's as insulting to say the Globe is Canada as it is to say that Trump is America.
