There’s clearly a growing concern & debate about the influence of political Islam and sectarian politics. There’s also a growing desire for a renewal of British Christian identity.
Bishops should engage positively with the debate, and not use terms like ‘racist’ and ‘bigot’.

Anti-Semitism has plumbed new depths in the West.

@Baroness_Nichol I attend Sunday worship in CofE. In the churches around me in Leeds. The usual congregations in my area number 8-12, none have children or families, over 90% of attendees are 70+.
Flourishing? I think not.

CofE is actually flourishing - loads try to bring it down but since the Church is rightly always on its knees the worshipping prayers win through.

This quote by Netanyahu is offensive on multiple levels. It not only compares Jesus to Genghis Khan, but also suggests that the way of Jesus is naive, while a ruthless, “might makes right” approach—marked by relentless aggression—is what ultimately allows good to overcome evil. Netanyahu, and his Christian Zionist supporters, are making a mockery of the ethics of Jesus. That is the true offense.

What newscast in America ever does that? NONE!

I know people don't like this for political reasons, but "Judeo-Christian" is in fact the best term to use to refer to those parts of Christian culture and thought that are built on the bedrock of the Old Testament (in other words, most of it).
