We harvest our old herd boars at the farm to sell to an upscale pet treat company. We compost the heads off the big ones. We wash. And we set them in the sun. Probably 800+ pound boars.

@ISchmidtFaced We were just discussing. For what we paid for our 2026 seed, we could have bought 40 acres 25 years ago.

I paid a lil under $35,000 for a brand new S650 skidsteer in 2013 . Seeing used skidsteers for over a 100 grand is wild to me.

Can they also eliminate emission control equipment on our tractors and combines? We paid over $6000 for a failure on the emission control equipment on our combine and it had absolutely nothing to do with the operation of the combine. We only use our combine a total of 16 days per year. Waste of our $.

@simonmaechling This couldn’t be farther from the truth. Pesticides and herbicides are poisoning our soil and food and destroying our microbiome. Wouldn’t be surprised if this is paid for by Monsanto. Regenerative agriculture is the future brother. Adapt or die.

I worked for 20 years in "Big Ag" so you don’t have to. This is what they don’t want you to know: Farmers don’t have time for conspiracy theories. Romanticize farming all you want, but without modern tools, you’d starve. GM crops aren't frankenfood. They cut pesticide use, resist drought, and improve yields, all while passing some of the strictest safety checks in science. They are the least unknown crops. Your food is safe. Period. Pesticides are tested more rigorously than most medicines. Farming isn’t killing the planet. Modern farming uses less land, less water, and fewer inputs than ever before. Innovation is the solution, not the problem. Organic farming still use pesticides. Some are more toxic and less effective than synthetic alternatives, meaning higher doses are needed.
