The BC Ports strike starting again is untenable for 🇨🇦. Rejecting a mediated settlement without putting it to a member vote is a disqualifying overplay by the union leadership. This is a major national issue to resolve now.

I'm probably going to get this a lot which is understandable. Important to remember that sirens are a normal part of the day to day, lots of routine calls. I'm off Twitter for the night now but will monitor the air and be assured if anything significant happens I'll come back on.

For the record, I am thrilled to see an Atlantic Canadian city grow this way. If a better economy means more traffic, I’m fine with it, but am sincerely curious if this is here to stay.

Everyone I talk to in Halifax says daily commute has doubled this year. 15 min to 30, 30 min to an hour. So I guess the question is, is this life in the HRM now? The 20+ high rises under construction I see every day makes me think this is just the beginning?
