Just wanted to spread the word that @eBay is now reflexively charging the “ad fee” on ALL items you sell via “promoted listings” regardless if the item is bought through an advertisement or not @CardPurchaser . Maybe I missed the news but did not know and found out on this sale that I just randomly looked at and could not believe the fees (I usually do a small percentage and this one was set to 13% so I was really really surprised 😱). When is enough enough FeeBay?

.@CardPurchaser just opened a case of sealed 2025 bowman hobby. All 12 boxes came with base autos, no case hits, or any numbered card under /199. Anyone experienced something like this from @Topps and how did @ToppsSupport make it right?

I have no bias here. This is a tech 10/10 times. For multiple reasons… it would have lost the game for his team and he would have tried to fight the officials like he did nothing wrong. I just don’t understand it at all. Also, referees need to grow a spine in instances like this.

@potatokmish It’s my understanding they don’t have to offer a cash out at all. Maybe I’m wrong. They aren’t forcing you to cash out are they? I don’t bet often and certainly not at that level.

There should be stricter regulatory laws against the predatory practice of cash out offer amounts by retail sportsbooks being well beneath market values.

@joestakx I mean even the grading companies can’t be consistent. It’s a made up number given by a human. Some companies even charge more if that human gives it a higher made up number. Nothing to see here.

If you hid the numbers on a bunch of 9s and 10s (and you could probably throw some 8s in) the vast majority of collectors could not tell you which was which with any real accuracy.
